Ok, I am missing something here. As a marine turbine, what would it have been used for? Seems very inefficient as an electrical generator. Am I wrong?
I was at the brooklands museum once, there was a whittle turbine being restored and the guy asked me If I wanted to have a look. An hour later he ran it for us.

@BriggsEngine1 Bristol Siddeley who were then taken over by Rolls-Royce. Rolls continued to produce the engine for many years.

This one is a standard aircraft unit that was installed in 1959 as a generator. There are still a number of these in service as generators in the UK.

Used in the Bristol Britannia airliner but then developed as a marine and industrial unit.
