I don't understand how anyone could have been offended by Elaine Page's reference as the BGT audition was indeed viral by the way it swept across the internet, the whole issue over this harmless remark is ridiculous.

Its funny the way she just walks off the stage in all of her earlier videos and did the same on BGT. Maybe just used to not getting any attention. Or as she thought. Simon was maybe the first to ask her to come back.
Susan's recently updated Wikipedia biography states that she DID win a number of her local competitions, and tho her Mum encouraged her to enter the much larger BGT one, Susan was long hestitant and her Mum never lived to see her phenomenal win.

"People's Choice Awards" don't make any sense because a kid or someone with lots of time, who doesn't work, etc. can sit at their computer for hours and vote over and over for their choice (and often a bad one at that). No real indication of who is really popular with the masses, and certainly not necessarily someone at the top of the charts or with any real talent. Susan wins on real talent any day! And the REAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE.

She truly has a fun side, and even as she is getting older, her voice has been so good and diverse for a long time. I don't understand how anyone could have been offended by Elaine Page's reference as the BGT audition was indeed viral by the way it swept across the internet, the whole issue over this harmless remark is ridiculous.
I do wish that Susan would stop swearing and behaving oddly in public though, she needs to find a better way of controlling her anxiety.

I love Susan. That voice is a God given gift . Who better than Susan deserves to be where she is now. She is so humble about her talent. That is why people love her the way they do. You don't find to many people like her. What a blessing she is. We all need to look at life as she does. The world would be better if we took a few lessons from Susan. You go girl !

Susan's recently updated Wikipedia biography states that she DID win a number of her local competitions, and tho her Mum encouraged her to enter the much larger BGT one, Susan was long hestitant and her Mum never lived to see her phenomenal win.
Fortunate for us, at least, that Susan finally did enter the big one, and what an entry! WOW!!!

"People's Choice Awards" don't make any sense because a kid or someone with lots of time, who doesn't work, etc. can sit at their computer for hours and vote over and over for their choice (and often a bad one at that). No real indication of who is really popular with the masses, and certainly not necessarily someone at the top of the charts or with any real talent. Susan wins on real talent any day! And the REAL PEOPLE'S CHOICE.

Her fandom is the most experienced, sophisticated and determined in pop culture history, it knows all the media tricks and NEVER accepts media reports wholly on face value.
