The music on this video is pretty high quality. When ever I upload something to youtube I edit it in windows movie maker, this converts the AVI to WMV but the quality of the picture and image is considerably lower than the high quality AVI. Is there better editing software out there that can have me upload high quality movies to youtube as well as be compatable for windows XP sp2?

i use Final Cut Studio and i convert from avi to mp4, it works but costs a lot. try using mp4 any way

Kurosawa is my all-time favorite director, Mifune is my all-time favorite actor, and the movies they made are, well, you know. But one thing that was always another high point was the music, and this is a prime example. Thanks for posting.

This is the overture music from "Yojimbo' and 'Sanjuro', you can listen from the DVD of these 2 film. Or you may try to find the original soundtrack of Kurosawa (CD or Record under certain Japanese Record Label).

All his movies mesmerized me, even Dodes Ka Den which is not liked that much. He was a true genius. This God given master leaved us Ikiru,Madadayo and Red Beard, not to forget the timeless Seven Samurai. What a great vision, what a depth of understanding!
