@POTHPuokie no they wont, because the kung fu guy will kick you in the balls.
then punch you in the throat and gouge out your eyes. and you wont defend it because your used to training in an environment where those moves are illegal, so you dont guard those areas.
now in an mma fight, yes the mma fighter would win most of the time, but then again, look at cung le, he is a kung fu fighter, sanshou i believe and he is great.
I am getting fat im out of shape and i smoke.. The only training i have is a little boxing from when i was younger and marine corps martial arts program.. I would like to fight either one of because neither one of you are any good.. Im not claiming to be a tough guy but i would love to spar with you.. I would agree to your conditions and if you embarass me i would have no problem admitting defeat and leeting you post it on youtube..
Why don't you point out the fat kids shit posture, bad footwork, zero balance, no concept of angles or what to throw from where etc...? They both suck but honestly the skinny kid has better fundamentals.
Not sure this is a good example of "live" fighting??? Neither chap lookd like they're going at it seriously and no techniques thrown looked like they were done with any commitment whatsoever... Can't see this proves anything to anybody....
@POTHPuokie It depends at what venue and which circumstances, don't get me wrong I train in MMA as well as other forms like Machado BJJ, JKD and recently trying to get into Krav maga. I'm a huge MMA fan but are you talking under MMA rules and regulations or a street fight in a club or on concrete, what works in the gym might not work in real life.
1bad65, I suggest that you take on board some of the critisims in this tape. Painful tho they may be, they are an accurate critique of your 'fighting'. I dont know how long you have been doing this style, but your' teacher', if we can call him that, is letting you develop the poorest of habits and skills. In simple terms, with your current skills, you are unable to fight your way out of a wet paper bag. You are obviously keen-don't give up hope, but please find a better school.
u cant hate on any martial art, in the end its the practitioner, not the style. the person is the one that gets beat up, it shouldn't be the name that does.
So here is the chance of your life... to have a taste of it... BTW, a true MA respects other people, other cultures, but I will not try here to educate you & consequently won't insult people.. So for all those of you who believe that Systema is bull... and for those of you who are truly interested, here is your chance to have a taste of it:

Ya'll act likie you guys are any better. These guys are mediocre, yes, but as long as they don't quit and eventually get better, it'll be okay. We all start somewhere.
@POTHPuokie not a kung fu guy with a background in greco roman wrestling. I really don't know why people use the term MMA its so retarded fighting is fighting. People can learn whatever they want, we are not robots that are only capable of learning one art. there is just MA, mma is just some marketing tool. To me all these mf and myself are just fighters. All motherfucking martial arts are mixed there is no such thing as a true system each person modifies to adapt to their body. damn >.>
@POTHPuokie you're fucking stupid, MMA is a sport with a fucking load of rules and moves that are illegal. 'Kung Fu' if for self defence and uses the most effective ways of taking someone out in a life or death situation. If you put GSP or any other MMA fighter against a good 'Kung Fu' guy' in a no holds barred match the 'Kung Fu' guy will win every single time
what the fuck is this garbage? This is two untrained kids with huge gloves trying to tag each other. If you want to fight a MMA guy, you need to find a real MMA school and challenge one of those guys and video tape it. Then at least I can have the satisfaction of seeing your dumb ass get pounded back into the 5th grade.
@capchaos888 So you are admiting that Bullshido does not have REAL MMA guys on there or anyone who is good? The point is bullshido is claiming they are total badasses and can beat anyone else who does traditional martial arts pretty much.
I am not against bullshido as I think there is some good, but you seem to miss the point.
@MaharlikaAWA I am sure some of them are MMA guys for real. But certainly not this guy. My problem with this is that the poster calls out errors that he is guilty of as well. You cannot say your are going to critique someone when you are just a clueless as they are about that particular area of interest. It's like me critiquing my friend who has no experience on landing planes, in the activity of landing friggin' planes. I'm not a pilot, neither is he, therefore the critique is worthless.
@capchaos888 Ok well I am sure a lot of bullshido guys really cant fight, the same as guys on sherdog. but then some guys on bullshido actually can fight and are quite good. but I dont think bullshido = ultimate badass fighter. Much of them are probably all talk. But I enjoy some of what bullshido does, just not the arrogant bully behavior they seem to promote.
@MaharlikaAWA Then we are pretty much on the same page. I despise McDojo's and therefore I like the general idea behind Bullshido, however the arrogance they generally seem to hold is uncalled for and this video certainly proves that they mostly seem to just be a lot of talk. However, the same can be said of the other guy as well; a lot of talking and not much behind it.
@capchaos888 I dont know anything about the guy who made this video. But bullshido reminds me a a cult of MMA larpers. Some of them are probably MMA fighters but most are just typical people who want to look cool and be tough but really arnt and dont. A lot of them are very skilled and I wouldnt mess with but it doesnt mean every jackass who posts on bullshido mocking every martial art besides BJJ Muay Thai and MMA is actually a capable fighter.
wtf is this bullshit. this is worse than a schoolyard brawl. both of you are slow and all your strikes can be seen from a mile away. i have no training whatsoever but i have sparred with multiple people. even i would be able to take both of you down. and sure, 1bad65 is pretty lousy but instead of humiliating him on YT shouldnt you be trying to teach him?
@POTHPuokie Kung Fu people usually do it for the health of their temple (Body) we do not want money to show us how good we can fight usually BJJ people go MMA because there teachers past down the tradition student to student Kung Fu schools are way different.
With all do you respect, I love you putting this bullshido practicioner to shame, but you're uh......Not exactly doin' it right. 1) you're crossing your feet 2) you don't recover very well from kicks, and you're wide open. 3) when you said "keep your hands up", you dropped yours. Just sayin' 4) you didn't put that guy to sleep. Sparring or not, Bullshido doesn't deserve to walk this earth, if he didn't have a headache afterwards, I'm dissappointed.
Have you even heard of the Art of War fighting championships? Antonio Braga Neto, the gold medalist of the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship(the most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament in the world), just signed with them. Rolles Gracie Jr. has signed with them also. China's national Judo, boxing, and Greco-roman wrestling champions/Olympic atheletes all also compete as well as Korea's Tae kwon do champion. Are none of these people high tier to you?
I was using the "general you" up above to refer to people who have theories, but who do not train(like Bullshido), not you personally. As for the no Kung fu guys, you seem to be ignoring Bruce Lee. You are also disqualifying all modern and more sport oriented forms of Kung fu as being Kung fu. Sanshou, Shuai jiao, and Chin Na have all been successful in MMA, especially in Asia. Chin na in particular resembles Brazilian jiu-jiutsu.
You can have the best theories in the world, you'll still lose to a well trained kung fu or mma guy. People with theories that don't bother training or putting them into practice shouldn't be criticizing those that do.
@BidwellRunner That being said, you both have a good point, how can a man without a theory live long enough to gain experience. Rather than arguing over such things, Agree that each aspect supplements each other.
@chinochan87 Not true. The most you can attain in MMA is excellence within the rules of a sport. Most MA studied to expert level are designed for self defence and are therefore more effective as the art is not designed within the rules of a sport. Even something like TKD has takedowns and gappling at BB level.
@Easyandy100 depends of what exactly u consider selfdefense here in Costa Rica it's all about carrying a gun. Knowing MA won't do anything for u, u fight here in a bar they'll fn shoot u or stab u, by SD u mean for ex: a escape from a headlock or a thrust to the throat?IMO just add to a mma fighter's moveset a kick to the groin/knees and poke to the eyes and he's more than ready to defend himself in a non armed situation, tell me why specifically would he be in disadvantange vs a TKD/KF guy
@chinochan87 Well there is defence against armed attack in most MA. Also most MA incorporate defence against multiple attackers. It is designed to maim and kill if necessary, something MMA is not. The disadvantage for an MMA guy is it is a sport. Kick in the groin and poke in the eyes just bolted on to MMA won't really cut it. I am sure MMA people are very competent to defend themsleves but not as competent as the MA guys. As I say MMA is sport not a SD. I like both.
@Easyandy100 The techniques in MMA are designed to maim and kill; hence the inclusion of 'tapping out' and referee stoppage. You must remember that MMA is not a fighting style, it is merely the amalgamation of the most effective techniques of all martial arts. Most MA guys are not competent to defend themselves, because they don't regularly engage in full contact combat. In the end, performing the technique in a live situation is the only thing that will make you effective.
@Easyandy100 No, MMA is an amalgamation of the most effective techniques of hand to hand combat; mma sport fighting is merely the manifestation of a complete combative system, in a repeatable, competitive atmosphere; obviously certain techniques like eye gouging and groin shots cannot be permitted in such a competition setting (though the old UFC, and current local vale tudo events in Brazil do allow many of said techniques). For real world self defense, the only high % option is a firearm.
Except where firearms are illegal, like In japan where getting them illegally is very difficult and most robbers are armed with knives. How is MMA any different than a former Judo national champion who becomes a master in Judo, Hapkido, Tae kwon do, and cross trains in Brazilian Jiujutsu, and Olympic wrestling(this is an actual person). Most high ranking masters are masters in multiple arts, especially in this day and age.
@BidwellRunner You just defined MMA then didn't you; MMA in and of itself is not a fighting style (though some techniques have been born from MMA), it is a combination of effective techniques from various styles, such as those that you mentioned. However, MMA competition provides a venue for live application of said techniques, where cross training itself does not. The only high percentage option for real world self defense is a firearm; those who do not have access to them, just have to make do
Why did youtube recommend this to me? I never said I liked shit videos. Just because one person isn't that good doesn't mean the martial art he's doing is bad.
@abcqwerty NOW BULLSHIDO IS A MARTIAL ART? What a pathetic excuse for a fighter, I mean... some of their videos are true, not because they say to me "this is bullshit" but because I'm not fucking stupid, and I see bullshit in a large number of MA.
But if bullshido is a martial art, is because they live of their fame and not skill. A fighter should be skillful and dedicated to his style, no matter what, he should be able to best his masters, I don't believe those guys reach that level...
I've "experianced" the world, i can speak FLUENTLY 3 languages, learning 6, I've been in airplanes since birth, I've been to multiple countrys. I'm a straight A student in a french School, I do tons of after school programs. And I do a awesome sport, TKD, 5 yrs. from january 2011. I am not ignorrant, nor stubborn. If I do say so myself, you are! I understand your opinion on Tkd, because it's your opinion, but to judge others only on thier age? You have never met ME!
@Da1RiSiN1sMoKe I am not spoiled. I practiced to get where i am. If you want evidence that tae kwon do is amazing then thats what I'll do. TKD is one of the 2 Martial Arts excepted in the olympic games, it's a known sport in 123 countries. over 3M people are black belts with a certificate for recognition of their skill level in the sport. TKD is not a sport played for the sake of fun. It is an essential and useful martial art that includes many techniques for combating attack from opponent.
@taimailing It is best considered as an effective tool for self-defense. In addition to the role of attack as well as self-defense, the martial art of Taekwondo is considered as a very effectively tool for exercising the body, and also for meditation and philosophy, since the sport or the art requires concentration and alertness the most. It is the national sport in south Korea. The most popular martial art in the world is not Karate or kung Fu, It's TKD!
 Congratulations you gave me the definition of TKD, but no rebuttal in why it's good. And no, your stupid comments don't mean that TKD is any good.
I'm tired of working with stupid and ignorant, it gets me no where.
I'm not gonna even bother arguing with the real child (you). so I hope you have a nice day, oh and don't go harrasing anyone else! ok? oh wait, I'm just a child I don't know what I'm talking about! Atleast I'm more respectful then you are.
@taimailing What makes Taekwondo special in comparison with Karate and Kung Fu? Taekwondo uses both the fists and the feet. The strongest and also the longest organ in a person’s body is the leg. It is believed that kicking the opponent using the legs will be the best way for executing powerful strikes on the opponent and the possibility of retaliation from the opponent is relatively less when kicked powerfully.
And who are you to judge? You don't even know me! For all you know, i might be stronger then you! And I'm not a brat. I might be more smarter then you! My friend spares against the older blackbelts in tournaments, I've seen her abilitys.
All talk all talk. I've seen TKD in action. Not impressed. Fancy kicks for show, but nothing to defend yourself against a mugger. I'll forgive you though. You're young, ignorant, and have yet to experience the real world.
You do understand that people make these videos so that they can see the weaknesses in their own skill sets, right? To get a good critique... You may have inadvertently helped him. I'm sure he appreciates it.
Some of these guys who post on Bullshido or represent Bullshido are oblivious to the fact that their own skills are horrendous at best.
To Ms. GracieJujitsu1, nice way to represent martial arts on the net, by acting tough and talking smack to a 12 year old. You, miss, are an official f*cktard of the highest caliber.
@GracieJujitsu1 Excuse me, but i found your comment disturbing, because i am twelve and im testing for my black belt in a week ive been doing TKD for 4yrs. Do not dare compare this idiot to peoplae such as myself. Thank you :D
@taimailing This is exactly the problem with Taekwondo. You're a 12 year old little kid who couldn't poke a hole in a teddy bear, yet they're giving you a black belt for it.
Actually kid, I have a black belt in ITF Taekwondo myself. Taekwondo is a terrible martial art, you should find a better one.
Im being trained By Master Chung himself, the founder of tkd!
and i could poke a hole in a teddy bear, i high fived my cousin and almost broke her hand, I played tag with my friend and she ended up in a wheel chair for christmas. (Luckily shes out now)
@taimailing@taimailing Master Chung is not the founder of TKD you idiot, General Choi Hung Hi is. Not only are you taking a crappy martial art, you're an idiot too.
Oh wow, another pre pubescent kid getting a black belt in TKD, how am I not surprised? At least he does sparring, unlike you TKD people which probably do very little sparring, or with 20 lbs. of body armor.
I, myself, is not the best sparrer, but I disagree about what your saying. My friend which is NINE, is cappable of HURTING a full grown man, and she is also a black belt.
I seriously doubt this. Post a video of this "d3@dly TKD"
Fucking cocky TKD people thinking getting a black belt by doing nothing but poomsae and light controlled sparring is enough to "hurt a full grown man."
Which full grown man are beating up on? Stephen Hawking?
I can't believe I'm wasting my time reasoning with an ignorant delusional 13 year old brat.
I've been around the internet for a good 16 years now and I've seen bitchfest after bitchfest after bitchfest time and time again on the internet, sometimes so bad that all parties bitching about the same thing lose sight of the arguement so here's how I thing internet fighting should be solved (at least part of the way it could).
How to lose at internet fighting:
- First person to call the other one a fag/faggot
- First person to start picking at the other one's spelling/grammar
@berner Lol, you are absolutely right. I think you should add one more rule. If a person says anything along the lines of "game over" or "you lose", then the party making those comments loses.
From what I've noticed, Bullshido guys spend more time being armchair warriors and trash talking on messageboards than actual training. This is not to say that I don't agree with weeding out bullshit martial arts, but the fact that they constantly come to the conclusion that "oh yeah, BJJ, some muay thai and a groundfighting is all that works on the street, and everything else sucks" shows their own hubris is too strong for their own good. MMA fanboys can only "know" so much about martial arts
Though beginners, they must have a bad instructor, what kind of guy will teach kids to the extent of no defence, no proper technique lousy anything. I don't know why the guy in the white even botheres to defend,
WTF is this video good for? For any beginner, let alone the man himself to see what is wrong pointed out to a point of obviousness. When you are a beginner, it is not always easy to catch things. Videos like this are helpful. When you have little experience, it doesn't ruin any reputation of yours to have your mistakes pointed out. I wish I would have had my ego broken down a little bit in my earlier days, it would've helped me out a lot.
This is not Bullshido you idiot its two guys learning the art of striking. Sparring is the number one effective way to learn how to fight. Had it been a mcdojo there would be no emphasis in sparring. This video is nothing but FAILURE and you nothing but a keyboard blackbelt. LOL
Brazilian Ju-Jitsu basically has a counter-move for every Karate move in existence. It's best to learn all styles of fighting so that you can increase your survivability and endurance....
plus, the indian martial art of kalari was used to fight off british colonists for several years who had superior weapons. The Philippine people fought off agressive colonists using escrima just around 40 years ago. french street gangs in the 1800's used to make good use of savate in their fights. BJJ focuses on ground grappling which is useless against multiples. same goes for judo. throw's and submissions thats about it. kyoushin karate is a decent style but not the only realistic one.
"plus, the indian martial art of kalari was used to fight off british colonists for several years who had superior weapons."
First of all, this isn't possible. Second, your logic is all fucked up. You seem to think that since a country's people practiced a martial art as well as fought off invaders it proves the martial art's worth. This is a tu quoque fallacy. People in the U.S. army have done American Kempo. Does this make kempo the best and most useful system in the world? No. It does not.
@Ljenkins9000 this isn't possible? really? you know i think i should know the history of my own country better than you. and i didn't say they practiced a martial art as well as fought of invaders. they USED the martial art to fight off invaders. do you comprehend the difference? actual full on conflict. plus the US army may have done kempo but do they use it in the field? no. these martial arts were actually used to fight off foreign aggressors
Excuse me, but who is this guy anyway? If your going to criticize the style, at least do it to a recognized master, or else your critique won't hold ground. I bet i could find a clip of a boxer who decimates the established idea that boxing is a solid style, but that would only be because he's a shit boxer, not that boxing is shit!
Bullshido are wannabe fighters(not martial artists) investigating the obvious. I think he is just doing almost the same. By "almost" I mean it's not that obvious to define who is The Shit or not brtween all those black belt tags.
"Bullshido are wannabe fighters(not martial artists) investigating the obvious."
So all the professional and amateur fighters who have uploaded multiple videos of their fights (and these people make up a pretty substantial amount of their members) are wannabe fighters? You sure about that?
Also, if what they were investigating was so obvious, you'd think that all (or at least the majority) of the "martial artists" in the world today would be practicing realistic fighting arts by now.
No, only the majority of keyboard warriors who thinks "aliveness" and accept a fight is enough to be considered The Shit, but can't do even that, as this video shows with this boy.
I don't think someone who trains with Ashida Kim, believes in Frank Dux or someone who declares to get 25 balck belts, are going to change his mind because of a investigation made by a site which forum are mostly trolling by self righteous people with "bjj purple belt" tags.
dude, ive been to their site a couple of times and lets see their amazing "investigations"
1) mind control is fraud. yeah. i didn't know that till i went to bullshido. 2) ashida kim is lying bout being able to make himself invisible. wow gosh i really didn't know that till bullshido enlightened me. there were many more "investigations" which i didnt bother to read. plus i dont give a fuck bout which belts , jackets or undearwear these ppl hav. do u know there hasnt bin a ko 2 date in a throwdown
"there were many more "investigations" which i didnt bother to read."
Looks like you missed out all the serious ones. Many times the bullshidoka themselves have come onto bullshido to defend themselves. Some of these times they have actually admitted to making shit up and have changed. Other times the bullshido artists have just disappeared. How is this a bad thing? Not to mention the hundreds if not thousands of people who avoided years of being conned out of their money for false confidence.
"plus i dont give a fuck bout which belts , jackets or undearwear these ppl hav"
Yeah a lot of people say that, and it's true that a black belt doesn't necessarily mean shit. However, history has proven that a black belt in those three arts (BJJ, Judo and Kyokushin) DOES actually mean something. It means these people can actually fight. These are the only three arts which give out black belts and also a) fight realistically, and b) have a very high level of quality control preventing mcdojoism.
@Ljenkins9000 history? history has proven that these three are the only martial arts that actually mean something and fight realistically? gosh i can't begin to explain to you how ignorant this statement is. lets go to history first. 1) krav maga is used by the israeli military. ninjutsu by israeli cops also by lithuanian paramilitary. bokator was used by the cambodians to fight off foreign invaders. there are many more such examples. your post reeks of stupidity and ignorance.
"history has proven that these three are the only martial arts that actually mean something and fight realistically?"
No, but I'll be happy to repeat what I said earlier, which is that these three martial arts have an extremely high level of quality control and are very realistic martial arts (with practitioners fighting professionally in various fight organizations), and because of that as well as high quality control (no mcdojos), a black belt is a very strong indicator of fighting prowess.
"1) krav maga is used by the israeli military. ninjutsu by israeli cops also by lithuanian paramilitary. bokator was used by the cambodians to fight off foreign invaders. there are many more such examples"
All of these styles have proven to be utter crap when actually tested against other martial arts. Ninjitsu is a big fucking joke. People who do ninjitsu actually almost always fight worse than completely untrained people.
@Ljenkins9000 so says the almighty keyboard warrior. if also those styles prove to be utter crap then why do the organisations continue to use them? you know that in around 70% of the violent conflicts the average cop engages in he doesnt draw his sidearm and relies on hand to hand technique to subdue the suspect? if these styles sucked they wouldn't be used at all would they?
"you know that in around 70% of the violent conflicts the average cop engages in he doesnt draw his sidearm"
Some cops actually practice Aikido. That doesn't make Aikido not terribly shitty all of a sudden. I've even heard of cops doing Capoeira. However, more and more cops are now doing BJJ. All of them do it in the surrounding cities where I live. Tell me. Why is it that there are mountains of video evidence of the MAs I say are good while almost none for all the other existing MAs?
@Ljenkins9000 aikido is not shitty. the only thing shitty here is your attitude bro. plus i'd love so see some evidence of judo,BJJ being used in an actual street fight or by a police officer. go on. post a link where its used in a real fight should be easy since BJJ is used by cops all around you. youtube, metacafe whatever. since there's a ton of video evidence of the MA's u say are good im sure this will be real quick
"plus i'd love so see some evidence of judo,BJJ being used in an actual street fight"
Youtube it stupid. I counted 8 street fight videos when I typed in BJJ street fight (WAY more than I expected).
"aikido is not shitty"
This is where our conversation must end, as it appears that you are a crazy person incapable of ever learning reasoning skills. Aikido is so impractical it is one of the very few martial arts which will actually make you WORSE at fighting by training in it.
@Ljenkins9000 really? post a link to an actual street fight then, are you trying to avoid the question.? BJJ street fight brings up 1660 results. post a link to where its used in an actual street fight would you?
If any of the other MAs in existence worked as well as you believe they do, why is there not overwhelming evidence of this? In the millions of fight videos out there, why is it that Muay Thai, BJJ, Boxing, etc. win 90% of the time while all the MAs you list lose 90% of the time? Please answer this for me. If you don't know what I am talking about you have not done nearly enough research to be talking about this. If that's the case, I would suggest you start by watching the first 15 UFCs.
@Ljenkins9000 you misunderstand. i asked you to post a link to a video where BJJ Muay Thai Judo or boxing are used in a real street fight by ordinary people or police officers. you claim there is tons of evidence of them being used in a realistic situation. provide a link to a video where these styles are being used in a realistic violent confrontation.
I'll do you a deal.I'll give you an example of BJJ, Judo and Muay Thai working against resisting opponents in competition. Then you show me an example of Bujinkan working in ANYTHING other than a compliant drill. If you can match me, THEN I'll think about providing a real life example. Because you haven't even upped the ante to the point where you're on the same level as a Judo competition.
"ashida kim is lying bout being able to make himself invisible. wow gosh i really didn't know that till bullshido enlightened me."
The investigations do much more than to enlighten you. They are meant to actually stop these people from practicing and spreading bullshido martial arts. This prevents many people from getting completely ripped off and wasting years of their lives. Again, how is this a bad thing? I think it is highly commendable and seriously wish I had found bullshido years ago.
@Ljenkins9000 ok lets say bullshido's investigations do more than enlighten me. hell lets say they're the path to spiritual salvation. that still doesn't prove their skill as martial artists. The income tax fraud and evasion department regularly unearths larger scams, does that mean they're master martial artists? no. claiming youre a skilled fighter because you proved someone else isn't is rather stupid.
"that still doesn't prove their skill as martial artists."
No. The records of the professional and amateur fighters on bullshido do, however, prove they are good fighters. Blackbelts in BJJ, Judo and Kyokushin do also prove they are good fighters. What I said regarding the investigations quite obviously had nothing to do with fighting prowess.
"I don't think someone who...are going to change his mind because of a investigation made by a site which forum are mostly trolling by..."
Actually, many people (hundreds, at least) have stopped training bullshit martial arts taught by bullshit martial artists. This is evident by their posts on bullshido. They have also brought down a few bullshidoka and in one case caused one con artist to get arrested. I don't see how you could possibly disagree with this kind of thing.
Perhaps you'd be better off critiquing the numerous amateur and professional full-contact fighters on Bullshido. Or perhaps the numerous extremely experienced instructors and high-ranking members of a large range of martial arts.
Hmm, let's see now....Mtripp, 6th dan Judoka, very well respected instructor....SamboSteve, president of the American Sambo Association. Want me to continue?
Anyone with an "Amateur Fighter" or "Professional Fighter" tag has video evidence in the video sections of their fights, which are checked thoroughly and you yourself can watch.
@ilikeaeroplanejelly and that is?? 2 out of over a million members. instead of pointing out individuals if you take the average skill ,its abysmally low. ive seen vids of a large number of bulllshido guys spar and ive seen people point spar with more force. hell ive seen pillow fights with more intensity. not once was there a punch or kick thrown which had even the slightest bit of impact or even disoriented their opponent slightly. and they call it full contact. its a really pathetic joke.
Take a look at the list of people with Black Belt tags in Kyokushin. Purple through Black belt tags in BJJ, Judo Black Belt tags. Instructor tags. All these people, and there are many of them, are highly skilled practitioners and teachers.
No, usually at throwdowns they don't claim it to be full contact at all. Nice try at a strawman though. I'm guessing you weren't thick skinned enough to deal maturely with the forum, and now you've got a childish vendetta.
nice.lets take a look at the guy's belt and ignore their skill level. i see the difference now. i'm talking bout skill and you're talking bout belts. and they don't claim its full contact? check the forum and wiki please ive seen several claims on the forums that throwdowns are ultra realistic and full contact plus, whatever belt they may have their skill level is abysmally low. and calling me immature and thick skinned does nothing bout reflect on your maturity and cognitive ability
Ah, retreating are we? Okay. LI_GUY has a number of professional MMA fights available for critique here. SamboSteve has a number of Sambo instructionals which you can view. Omega has a number of professional MMA fights you can peruse at your leisure.
Have you even bothered to look through the videos section at the hundreds of Amateur and professional bouts available there?

@POTHPuokie no they wont, because the kung fu guy will kick you in the balls.
then punch you in the throat and gouge out your eyes. and you wont defend it because your used to training in an environment where those moves are illegal, so you dont guard those areas.
now in an mma fight, yes the mma fighter would win most of the time, but then again, look at cung le, he is a kung fu fighter, sanshou i believe and he is great.

If you put GSP or any other MMA fighter against a good 'Kung Fu' guy' in a no holds barred match the 'Kung Fu' guy will win every single time
ConFuZeD1000 3 months ago
what the fuck is this garbage? This is two untrained kids with huge gloves trying to tag each other. If you want to fight a MMA guy, you need to find a real MMA school and challenge one of those guys and video tape it. Then at least I can have the satisfaction of seeing your dumb ass get pounded back into the 5th grade.
capchaos888 4 months ago
@capchaos888 So you are admiting that Bullshido does not have REAL MMA guys on there or anyone who is good? The point is bullshido is claiming they are total badasses and can beat anyone else who does traditional martial arts pretty much.
I am not against bullshido as I think there is some good, but you seem to miss the point.
MaharlikaAWA 4 months ago
@MaharlikaAWA I am sure some of them are MMA guys for real. But certainly not this guy. My problem with this is that the poster calls out errors that he is guilty of as well. You cannot say your are going to critique someone when you are just a clueless as they are about that particular area of interest. It's like me critiquing my friend who has no experience on landing planes, in the activity of landing friggin' planes. I'm not a pilot, neither is he, therefore the critique is worthless.
capchaos888 4 months ago
@capchaos888 Ok well I am sure a lot of bullshido guys really cant fight, the same as guys on sherdog. but then some guys on bullshido actually can fight and are quite good. but I dont think bullshido = ultimate badass fighter. Much of them are probably all talk. But I enjoy some of what bullshido does, just not the arrogant bully behavior they seem to promote.
MaharlikaAWA 4 months ago
@MaharlikaAWA Then we are pretty much on the same page. I despise McDojo's and therefore I like the general idea behind Bullshido, however the arrogance they generally seem to hold is uncalled for and this video certainly proves that they mostly seem to just be a lot of talk. However, the same can be said of the other guy as well; a lot of talking and not much behind it.
capchaos888 4 months ago
@capchaos888 I dont know anything about the guy who made this video. But bullshido reminds me a a cult of MMA larpers. Some of them are probably MMA fighters but most are just typical people who want to look cool and be tough but really arnt and dont. A lot of them are very skilled and I wouldnt mess with but it doesnt mean every jackass who posts on bullshido mocking every martial art besides BJJ Muay Thai and MMA is actually a capable fighter.

Rolles Gracie Jr. has signed with them also. China's national Judo, boxing, and Greco-roman wrestling champions/Olympic atheletes all also compete as well as Korea's Tae kwon do champion. Are none of these people high tier to you?
BidwellRunner 11 months ago
@POTHPuokie
BidwellRunner 11 months ago
@POTHPuokie
You can have the best theories in the world, you'll still lose to a well trained kung fu or mma guy. People with theories that don't bother training or putting them into practice shouldn't be criticizing those that do.

mma isnt the ultimate truth for a street fight but is a whole lot more useful for it than that kung fu,aikido bullshit
chinochan87 1 year ago
@chinochan87 Not true. The most you can attain in MMA is excellence within the rules of a sport. Most MA studied to expert level are designed for self defence and are therefore more effective as the art is not designed within the rules of a sport. Even something like TKD has takedowns and gappling at BB level.
Easyandy100 1 year ago

chinochan87 1 year ago
@Easyandy100 depends of what exactly u consider selfdefense here in Costa Rica it's all about carrying a gun. Knowing MA won't do anything for u, u fight here in a bar they'll fn shoot u or stab u, by SD u mean for ex: a escape from a headlock or a thrust to the throat?IMO just add to a mma fighter's moveset a kick to the groin/knees and poke to the eyes and he's more than ready to defend himself in a non armed situation, tell me why specifically would he be in disadvantange vs a TKD/KF guy
chinochan87 1 year ago
@chinochan87 Well there is defence against armed attack in most MA. Also most MA incorporate defence against multiple attackers. It is designed to maim and kill if necessary, something MMA is not. The disadvantage for an MMA guy is it is a sport. Kick in the groin and poke in the eyes just bolted on to MMA won't really cut it. I am sure MMA people are very competent to defend themsleves but not as competent as the MA guys. As I say MMA is sport not a SD. I like both.
Easyandy100 1 year ago
@Easyandy100 The techniques in MMA are designed to maim and kill; hence the inclusion of 'tapping out' and referee stoppage. You must remember that MMA is not a fighting style, it is merely the amalgamation of the most effective techniques of all martial arts. Most MA guys are not competent to defend themselves, because they don't regularly engage in full contact combat. In the end, performing the technique in a live situation is the only thing that will make you effective.
RebelWrestler45 1 year ago
@Easyandy100 No, MMA is an amalgamation of the most effective techniques of hand to hand combat; mma sport fighting is merely the manifestation of a complete combative system, in a repeatable, competitive atmosphere; obviously certain techniques like eye gouging and groin shots cannot be permitted in such a competition setting (though the old UFC, and current local vale tudo events in Brazil do allow many of said techniques). For real world self defense, the only high % option is a firearm.
RebelWrestler45 1 year ago
@RebelWrestler45
BidwellRunner 11 months ago
@BidwellRunner You just defined MMA then didn't you; MMA in and of itself is not a fighting style (though some techniques have been born from MMA), it is a combination of effective techniques from various styles, such as those that you mentioned. However, MMA competition provides a venue for live application of said techniques, where cross training itself does not. The only high percentage option for real world self defense is a firearm; those who do not have access to them, just have to make do

You continue to talk about your life, in which no one on YT really cares about. It's all worthless.
Besides, you're evading the debate by bragging what a spoiled bitch you are.
TKD sucks. The sparring is overprotected, and based on point sparring rules, which is not useful in the real world if you get attacked.
99% of the dojangs give away their belts like candy because of a weak flawed system.
Yet you claim it's so amazing without providing any hard facts or argument.
Da1RiSiN1sMoKe 1 year ago
@Da1RiSiN1sMoKe I am not spoiled. I practiced to get where i am. If you want evidence that tae kwon do is amazing then thats what I'll do. TKD is one of the 2 Martial Arts excepted in the olympic games, it's a known sport in 123 countries. over 3M people are black belts with a certificate for recognition of their skill level in the sport. TKD is not a sport played for the sake of fun. It is an essential and useful martial art that includes many techniques for combating attack from opponent.
taimailing 1 year ago
@taimailing It is best considered as an effective tool for self-defense. In addition to the role of attack as well as self-defense, the martial art of Taekwondo is considered as a very effectively tool for exercising the body, and also for meditation and philosophy, since the sport or the art requires concentration and alertness the most. It is the national sport in south Korea. The most popular martial art in the world is not Karate or kung Fu, It's TKD!

@taimailing What makes Taekwondo special in comparison with Karate and Kung Fu? Taekwondo uses both the fists and the feet. The strongest and also the longest organ in a person’s body is the leg. It is believed that kicking the opponent using the legs will be the best way for executing powerful strikes on the opponent and the possibility of retaliation from the opponent is relatively less when kicked powerfully.

plus, the indian martial art of kalari was used to fight off british colonists for several years who had superior weapons.
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago

Where's the pwnage? This looked like a couple of beginners sparring at maybe half speed. The critiques are pretty terrible too.

Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000
No, only the majority of keyboard warriors who thinks "aliveness" and accept a fight is enough to be considered The Shit, but can't do even that, as this video shows with this boy.
I don't think someone who trains with Ashida Kim, believes in Frank Dux or someone who declares to get 25 balck belts, are going to change his mind because of a investigation made by a site which forum are mostly trolling by self righteous people with "bjj purple belt" tags.
biporio 1 year ago
dude, ive been to their site a couple of times and lets see their amazing "investigations"
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
"there were many more "investigations" which i didnt bother to read."
Looks like you missed out all the serious ones. Many times the bullshidoka themselves have come onto bullshido to defend themselves. Some of these times they have actually admitted to making shit up and have changed. Other times the bullshido artists have just disappeared. How is this a bad thing? Not to mention the hundreds if not thousands of people who avoided years of being conned out of their money for false confidence.
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
"plus i dont give a fuck bout which belts , jackets or undearwear these ppl hav"
Yeah a lot of people say that, and it's true that a black belt doesn't necessarily mean shit. However, history has proven that a black belt in those three arts (BJJ, Judo and Kyokushin) DOES actually mean something. It means these people can actually fight. These are the only three arts which give out black belts and also a) fight realistically, and b) have a very high level of quality control preventing mcdojoism.
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 history? history has proven that these three are the only martial arts that actually mean something and fight realistically? gosh i can't begin to explain to you how ignorant this statement is. lets go to history first. 1) krav maga is used by the israeli military. ninjutsu by israeli cops also by lithuanian paramilitary. bokator was used by the cambodians to fight off foreign invaders. there are many more such examples. your post reeks of stupidity and ignorance.
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
"history has proven that these three are the only martial arts that actually mean something and fight realistically?"
No, but I'll be happy to repeat what I said earlier, which is that these three martial arts have an extremely high level of quality control and are very realistic martial arts (with practitioners fighting professionally in various fight organizations), and because of that as well as high quality control (no mcdojos), a black belt is a very strong indicator of fighting prowess.

All of these styles have proven to be utter crap when actually tested against other martial arts. Ninjitsu is a big fucking joke. People who do ninjitsu actually almost always fight worse than completely untrained people.
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 so says the almighty keyboard warrior. if also those styles prove to be utter crap then why do the organisations continue to use them? you know that in around 70% of the violent conflicts the average cop engages in he doesnt draw his sidearm and relies on hand to hand technique to subdue the suspect? if these styles sucked they wouldn't be used at all would they?
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
"you know that in around 70% of the violent conflicts the average cop engages in he doesnt draw his sidearm"
Some cops actually practice Aikido. That doesn't make Aikido not terribly shitty all of a sudden. I've even heard of cops doing Capoeira. However, more and more cops are now doing BJJ. All of them do it in the surrounding cities where I live. Tell me. Why is it that there are mountains of video evidence of the MAs I say are good while almost none for all the other existing MAs?
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 aikido is not shitty. the only thing shitty here is your attitude bro. plus i'd love so see some evidence of judo,BJJ being used in an actual street fight or by a police officer. go on. post a link where its used in a real fight should be easy since BJJ is used by cops all around you. youtube, metacafe whatever. since there's a ton of video evidence of the MA's u say are good im sure this will be real quick
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
"plus i'd love so see some evidence of judo,BJJ being used in an actual street fight"
Youtube it stupid. I counted 8 street fight videos when I typed in BJJ street fight (WAY more than I expected).
"aikido is not shitty"
This is where our conversation must end, as it appears that you are a crazy person incapable of ever learning reasoning skills. Aikido is so impractical it is one of the very few martial arts which will actually make you WORSE at fighting by training in it.
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 really? post a link to an actual street fight then, are you trying to avoid the question.? BJJ street fight brings up 1660 results. post a link to where its used in an actual street fight would you?

notice the "(dot)" in the third video. You need to put a period in there.

@RhadeConstantine PM incoming, BJJ in street fight.

Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 you misunderstand. i asked you to post a link to a video where BJJ Muay Thai Judo or boxing are used in a real street fight by ordinary people or police officers. you claim there is tons of evidence of them being used in a realistic situation. provide a link to a video where these styles are being used in a realistic violent confrontation.
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
Okay this is the only time I'm doing your homework for you. Street fight situations with the following MAs.
Boxing:

BJJ:

Muay Thai:

I'll do you a deal.I'll give you an example of BJJ, Judo and Muay Thai working against resisting opponents in competition. Then you show me an example of Bujinkan working in ANYTHING other than a compliant drill. If you can match me, THEN I'll think about providing a real life example. Because you haven't even upped the ante to the point where you're on the same level as a Judo competition.

Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
@Ljenkins9000 ok lets say bullshido's investigations do more than enlighten me. hell lets say they're the path to spiritual salvation. that still doesn't prove their skill as martial artists. The income tax fraud and evasion department regularly unearths larger scams, does that mean they're master martial artists? no. claiming youre a skilled fighter because you proved someone else isn't is rather stupid.
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
"that still doesn't prove their skill as martial artists."
No. The records of the professional and amateur fighters on bullshido do, however, prove they are good fighters. Blackbelts in BJJ, Judo and Kyokushin do also prove they are good fighters. What I said regarding the investigations quite obviously had nothing to do with fighting prowess.
Ljenkins9000 1 year ago
"I don't think someone who...are going to change his mind because of a investigation made by a site which forum are mostly trolling by..."
Actually, many people (hundreds, at least) have stopped training bullshit martial arts taught by bullshit martial artists. This is evident by their posts on bullshido. They have also brought down a few bullshidoka and in one case caused one con artist to get arrested. I don't see how you could possibly disagree with this kind of thing.

So what? These guys are relative beginners.

Anyone with an "Amateur Fighter" or "Professional Fighter" tag has video evidence in the video sections of their fights, which are checked thoroughly and you yourself can watch.
ilikeaeroplanejelly 1 year ago
@ilikeaeroplanejelly and that is?? 2 out of over a million members. instead of pointing out individuals if you take the average skill ,its abysmally low. ive seen vids of a large number of bulllshido guys spar and ive seen people point spar with more force. hell ive seen pillow fights with more intensity. not once was there a punch or kick thrown which had even the slightest bit of impact or even disoriented their opponent slightly. and they call it full contact. its a really pathetic joke.
RhadeConstantine 1 year ago
*sigh*
Take a look at the list of people with Black Belt tags in Kyokushin. Purple through Black belt tags in BJJ, Judo Black Belt tags. Instructor tags. All these people, and there are many of them, are highly skilled practitioners and teachers.
No, usually at throwdowns they don't claim it to be full contact at all. Nice try at a strawman though. I'm guessing you weren't thick skinned enough to deal maturely with the forum, and now you've got a childish vendetta.
ilikeaeroplanejelly 1 year ago
nice.lets take a look at the guy's belt and ignore their skill level. i see the difference now. i'm talking bout skill and you're talking bout belts. and they don't claim its full contact? check the forum and wiki please ive seen several claims on the forums that throwdowns are ultra realistic and full contact plus, whatever belt they may have their skill level is abysmally low. and calling me immature and thick skinned does nothing bout reflect on your maturity and cognitive ability
