This is why hockey is awesome. you do something bitchy like go after someone's injury, and you're going to get punished. Luckily thornton was tough enough to do it himself. Sharks lost the game but this kind of event lasts beyond one regular season contest.

i was at this game. thornton absolutely murdered him. they did a first-half recap on NHL2NIGHT during the all-star break the year this happened and they showed the beat down (it was the only fight during a 5-8 minute clip)
