i think what it comes down to is that these companies provide mostly microsoft support, so they don't have enough internal support to really handle Linux sales. people gotta know how to use it before retailers will have noteworthy support. i agree though, now is the time to move. microshaft is dead in the water.
Canada and the USA just seem to be wrong for this open source evolution. I'm glad Europe and others have seen the real deal with open source software. (coming from a European :P)

As a power user you do you use Ubuntu over Debian. I know Debian harder but you get much more power. Ubuntu is just Debian made easy.

The only difficulties or limitations that may accour with linux is all depence entirely on your skills with linux
