Oh so much fun to feed the little fox.............until it accidentally nips your finger and you have to get rabies shots and the little fox has to be hunted to death to determine if it has rabies.............oh so much fun
@eggtube Just because its in the UK does not mean it doesn't have rabies. Is this an actual domesticated fox that has received proper medical care and shots from a vet? does not look like it.
@xgeko2 stupid cunt, yes it does, the uk is one of the few rabies free countries, the last instance of anything having rabies was November 2002, when someone traveled to the uk after being bitten by a bat in poland, there have been no cases in the UK of rabies being transmitted by a dog over the last 100 years. check your facts before attempting to rebut people
@whyyousobudu You don't have to be so rude. Even if the uk is "Rabies free" the animal does not look tame at all and could still attack someone for any reason if it has rabies or not or any other medical issue. for example maybe its leg is injured and you try to touch it and the animal then attacks you. Was just trying to make a general statement rabies was mentioned but there could be many other illness's.
I love this Video! I have a 'thing' about Foxes. It fascinates me that they're so much like a dog, yet are not 'savage' to humans - I mean; unless they are cornered, a Fox will not attack you - unlike some dogs do that have even been domesticated! Fascinating! Thanks for Posting this.
How odd. There are not supposed to be any wild foxes on Anglesey. I live in NW London and the numerous foxes will quite happily pass within 20 feet of you.I have also seen a young fox beg for food from the safety of a wall. Doesn't make them tame - just hungry. Foxes do not make good pets - they are unpredictable and untrainable. (I knew a person who had one many years ago and it was trouble!)
Most of the canine family may be if say, they are raised form birth? For foxes, they may be domesticated, but you can't really train them to do things that some dogs may do like oh say, Seeing Eye dogging or Hunting. This is entirely possible.
There was a Russian experiment in the 1950s where foxes were selectively bred for tameness and within 20 years the foxes forgot how to hunt, grew black-and-white fur and wagged their tails. They had become 'dogs'
I've heard about it too. Still, I would prefer a half-tame fox myself - that is, if I had a place in a forest where foxes live...you know, they would hunt, but would not be afraid of me and I could pet and feed them occasionally.

how do you even get a fox?!
briiiiiiiiiiiit 2 years ago
From an exotic animal breeder or fur farm.
I wouldn't recommend supporting fur farms, though.
