@40ghostrider I could be wrong, but I would imagine Mark and Denny were left out since they were fired from the band. That's my guess, anyway. Howard Leese stayed with the band after they left.

Bad Animals was a horrible album. With "Heart", most of the songs were from outside writers that just churned out radio hits. It was a very different sound. Sucked. They can still rock out, but their best albums were the early ones.
I hate it but, Sex, drugs, rock & roll. The first on the list is, SEX! In the business, it is unfortunate, that a woman is going to be judged that way. I love Ann. She has one of the greatest voices in rock, hands down. She was, I do not know if she is now, bordering on morbidly obese. I hope for her own health she gets help. To me, she is sexy as hell, I could care less, just sing to me with that beautiful voice, you Rock Goddess.
I've always thought all the hoopla about Ann's weight was just a sack of crap. Who the hell cares. She's one of the most incredible singers/songwriter/ performing talent in the world. She's beautiful heavy or thin. I know the stigma and public perceptions really do exist, I am just sorry she was subjected to it.
Sometime's a girl's gotta be her own best friend. Thank God Ann had Nancy to help her through. Bless them both.
wow, i cant believe she got so much crap about her weight. she doesn't need to look good. she is amazing. most celebrities you find that try to look good spend too much time on that and not enough on their music, and their music usually sucks.
I love how Nancy described pulling Ann out of her fear onstage. That is just super sweet. I know this expression has grown to have a specific connotation, but I mean it in it's purest, literal sense: she is such a good girl. Just, good good good and kind.
Ann Wilson was my first "celebrity" crush at the age of 14 - she was, and is, an incredibly attractive and sexy woman, and it's just so sad to see what the entertainment machine did to her and how it ground her down. The video for "Alone"? DANG. Seriously.
Ann Wilson is likely the most authentic rock chic there ever was. I would agree that few men or women in rock can sing as brilliantly as her. Her vocal abilities are vast! So sad that women have to maintain an image despite their obvious talent, while men can be fugly with lots or little talent and be worshipped in spite of their image.
