Why did Bush stay in that florida classroom after being told about the first hit? Where was NORAD? Why,when 4 planes turn around and head into restricted airspace were they not shot out of the sky,civilian or not? So many questions.

It was the first time in history if I have the facts correct that a vice president as opposed to a colonel or general had the final say on whether an aircraft should be shot down.
Exactly what I was thinking. If 35% of Dems think Bush saw evidence that al Qaeda was planning some sort of major strike inside the US and did nothing about it, that's perfectly reasonable. If 35% say Bush knew about it specifically or approved it, that is shocking.
So, what was the specific question which received the 35% "yes" from Dems?
