It's so cool to see Randy exploring his vocal ranges. So many people think that he (they) need to quit evolving and go back to Palaces and Ashes material. No one realizes that as a band, you can't do that, because if you aren't exploring and evolving yourself musically each record you're at a stand still. And why hate on Randy's voice? I personally think when he uses his voice and produces those notes like he is now that he sounds more brutal than ever! It's ballsier - anyone can sscream.
