Finally i found the 2010 dvd shrink version here thedvdshrink(dot) com , its compatible with Vista and 7!!!

why is it that it doesnt work on some movies? and also would this be able to rip blueray disks since the format war is over and HD DVD lost?

I got a question. How come when I Back up DVDs, they play totally fine on my computer, but skip a lot when they play in a regular DVD player?

DVD Shrink compresses the DVD file so it will fit on a DVD-R/RW disc.

you can't, you can only burn dvds on DVDS.
