OMG this brings back serious memories LOL I remember this song from all the 80s rehearsals at Mates LOL The Troubador Shows - Wow those were so great. I don't think I've spoken w/ Ann in over 20 yrs hard to believe LOL Chet Thompson was totally a Guitar God but like the band - they NEVER got the credit they deserved! I remember countless AMAZING SHOWS - just like Craig Collins Turner's Band - Network - remember them?? LOL Rockers!!!
Shit, this must be ca. 'The Black Book' w/ Ann, Chet Thompson, Sean Kelley, Rex Tennyson on bass and Ray Schenk. Funny that Chet came back after the 'Screams in the Night' line-up had a major falling out with Ann before the album was even out. Chet was one bad ass mutha - can't believe he sold all his gear and quit playing.
Sweet! Chet Thompson (lead guitar) was my guitar teacher for a number of years at Grayson's Tune Town in Montrose, CA., he learned from the great Randy Rhoads. I never realized it at the time, but taking lessons from this guy, I was in the presence of true greatness. A phenom, a maverick, a paragon, a savant. Damn I wish I had stuck with it!
The photos of Ann always looked so innocent and charming. WOWZA !! Now I know where they got the band name from! What a line up ! I soooo wished I had seen them in concert.....that's why I'm feeling so happy and rowdy right now from seeing this great clip !!
Everyone few months I come and give this a blast and the solo just gets better and better, Hellion were amazing and Chet is just a guitar god IMO.

I'm happy to say that I've played drums a few times with Chet back in the day--and he just rips. Great feel, great chops, great guy.
Cheers mate!

from what i hear chet thompson had a reputation more for breaking up bands then ever getting anything accomplished in one

Interesting, it's a shame that her guitarists kept going out.

Are you serious? I noticed some Randy influences on Chet's playing. BTW you are lucky if you had a great teacher.. :)
