He isn't a great guitarist. He's just more of an artist then most guitarist out there. He comes up with original, creative stuff. The reason people think he's great is cause he's the only one in his genre that does stuff like that. Look at the fifth video, i don't see many guitarist doin that. Simple, but good.

If you view his playing style from within the constructs of a specific genre it might not match what you expect, but the fact is that Wes is consistently playing good, unique music.
The only reason I ever listened to Limp Bizkit is because Wes was the guitarist he is awesome I would go as far as god like but he has some very tasty riffs that I really dig.
Wes = Under appreciated by smart ass jerks such as yourself. He for one is doing something that sounds really great, has a lot of creativity, diversity and originality. Personally I don't like all that looping, but it still shows a lot of creativity.
Limp Bizkit is ok I guess, but now that Wes is gone, it's just shit imho.
