  • Amazingly beautiful. I could listen to Michel all day - and I do! What a joy!

  • He makes the piano sound another way. It seems impossible, but he does !

  • Top of the line!!!

  • Danny Devito on piano! but seriously, amazing.

  • amazing

  • Sweet, spare and spot on. Beautiful.

  • Michel is superb.

  • 凄い

    これぞ名演

    最後のテーマの緊張感が最高だ

  • @MattWiles30 well ! i play my pieces anytime in a different way and most of my live act are basicly like this ! but i consider also any mood you need to tune your soul according to your wires and instruments and this is a great privilege for your body and mind and you have to respect god for that huge gift !!! and I repeat fot my last time the bassplayer in this video really ain't in mood with petrucciani so i dislike his way of playing ... that's it for me !

  • the bass player is fairly good :S the theme he plays has to be more incisive ,,,, .,. phuk ...

  • @untrusted74 hey bruno!!! that's anthony jackson there , you need to learn a little more before trying to bash the giants .

  • @annihilationtool6 in my opnion that bass player ain't mingus ...or something similar ti him si try to respect my thoughts ok ???

  • Anthony's first notes are amazing. I also love what he does at 0:20,... anyone have an idea what he does, and what his EQ is to obtain that tone?

  • 1:42-1:48 That's Bill Evans' blues "Interplay"

  • so nice ! です.

  • the transition at 0:51 blew my minddd. the resolution of the tension there is unlike anything i've heard

  • Breathtaking

  • Did any one hear him use Miles' lick from the original track in minute 1:58?

  • yes, he quotes a few notes of the original track.

The thing with Miles is that his solos were like new compositions. When I hear someone quoting Miles, I want to hear the entire original solo!! It's like that live version of Stella by Starlight (Four&More). The theme itself played by Miles becomes much more interesting than the original. His perception of time/melody was just astounding...

  • haha yeaah! And right before ( 1:50 ) he mentions wes montgomerys "road song"!

  • @jazzguy26 Absolutely! Nothing wrong with paying a lil' bit of tribute.

  • @jazzguy26 We are so used to Miles' chorus that it has nearly became an inner theme, a jazz national anthem, and it's always surprising to hear something else.

  • @jazzguy26 or Interplay @ 1:40

  • beautiful and tasteful

  • Steve Gadd & Anthony Jackson amazing, of course Mr. Petrucciani,

  • nothing more than beautiful :)

  • Pretty inspiring.

  • Woow.... Wonderful jewel. Absolutely amazing:-)
