I don't find it "improved", I much prefer the original version with a more quiet, subtle, hunting atmosphere that lacks this "hollywood" version.

And I miss the female background vocals too..But the song is a beauty :)

I absolutely loved this song from the first time I heard it. Remember hearing it again when Tim Booth went solo. Was amazing, possibly one of the most underrated songs ever. Music and lyrics are just beautiful!
