Look at her tail! Shes so excited and inquisitive "Look mummy!". We take our cat for walks and he is so naughty, he has to be involved in everything. Today we had to climb into a rock pool :/
Burmese really are like dogs-and whippets are like cats! if this cat was bothered by his lead, he would be throwing a wabbly,so he clearly does not mind..my family's Burmese climbed onto the soft top of their car after everyone had got in,and they were driving along and only noticed the cat when other motorists were flashing headlights and tooting!Lucky he has claws, otherwise he would have slid off with the acceleration. he was a crazy cat
@Oakleaf700 they are. they love to play fetch at least many of them. most of them will follow you around the house "by foot", and be very obedient, and eager to please their humans. this kitty obviously enjoys the walk and wants to discuss information obtained with her people :)
i have a burmese cat and he is only 7 ! :) and when he comes back from a hunt he leaves a dead/alive mouse last year he brang home an alive baby bunny i had to take it to the woods
What a beautiful sweet cat. I had one just like Sally years ago. He would pick up his neck collar and bring it to me when he wanted to go for a walk. I miss him so much. Once I yelled at him (not too loud) when he scratched the couch. He immediately went to the corner of the room and sat facing the corner and wouldn't come out until I apologized and picked him up.
Superfin! Ska köpa mig en Burma i framtiden. Det verkar vara en trevlig ras. Kul att hon gillar att gå i koppel, min ena katt älskar att gå i koppel och min andra vill inte gå ut överhuvudtaget.
I have 2 Burmese and they are both loving and affectionate and lots of fun to be around. I could not ask for a better temperment in any cat other than my two cats, and the one that I had before them. They all love to be admired and made a fuss over. Sweet angels from Heaven.
I have a lovely sable Burmese and a blue Burmese and they both go outside for walks. They get very bored and like the excitement of being outdoors and able to roam safely on their leash. They both go out at the same time on a 40 foot long leash. I keep them near me but if it is safe for them to run I let them, hence the long leash. If we sere a dog, my sable goes up on my head and digs all 4 sets of them firmly in my scalp. My blue just cuddles. They have had outdoor adventures for 5 years now.
what a sweet cat. my burmese cat kiwi loves to walk with me on a leash as well. they sure are smart loyal cats. every day i am thankful for getting a burmese. he is the best.
@TheWeeNinja burmese cats dont do well outside by themselves. they dont have the same instincts that other cats have. if it were to get lost it would not be able to feed itself very well and watch out for cars. another reason its on the leash is because they love the cat and they are also very expensive.
I love this video! I have had 4 Burmese cats, and my oldest lived to be 22 years old. He walked on a leash, rode in the car, traveled everywhere with us. he loved to be on his leash walking and didn't mind the people or noise. Starting early with socializing outside is the right thing! Expose Sally to all kinds of experiences and she will live fearlessly and for a long time! Enjoy your Burmese companion - there is no better cat in the world!
@birchreed I had a Burmese ( chocolate color) male who was one of my best friends, I took him for a walk everyday, and every morning at 6:43 in the morning he would wake me up by " nibbling" on my ear. "Cujo" was a great lap cat( which is characteristic of Burmese) and would clean me daily after cleaning himself. I was also able to carry him on my shoulders and walk for hours in the park with him. I agree with you when you say Burmese are the greatest breeds of cats and I would love another.
My Burmese cat looks just like Sally. She also goes out for a walk. Her favorite walks are after dark and she runs to show me how happy she is. (Whenever we would cross a street, I would say, "run, run, run," and coax her to run. Then I would praise her with praise and kisses. She soon knew that it made me happy when she runs.
She also will talk when she goes in strange territory. I mimic her mews and she shows me her wee tummy to let me know that she is happy. Cats are so fantastic.
Lol. My cat would do that. Mine is the same as yours, his name is Milo and he is sooo nosy!! Whenever we put build-a-bear clothes on him lol he walks backwards!
@tulleguriluri Tack! :) Selen har jag köpt från pupstore.se, Sally (3,5 kg) har stl XS och hennes bror (4,5 kg) har stl S. Jag tycker de fungerar superbra.
Wow, she's almost identical to much beloved but long dead kitty Mrs. Clarissa Von Hawthorn Smythe-Edwards Meowington Mouse-Destroyer the Third (Mousy, for short). She was also very vocal, many Burmese are. Absolutely gorgeous kitty you have.
Thanks for the nice comments! I have taken my cats out in the winter but only with the possibility to go indoors when they want to. Sally doesn't like the cold and wet but her brother Charlie is always excited to be outdoors. I think a short visit outside is ok even in the winter and where I live in Sweden it doesn't get very cold.
We had a lead for our old burmese cat, who recently died, and she was fine with the lead. We've just got 2 little blue burmese kittens and we tried putting one on them to see if they liked it and they just kind of flop over and walk around like they're drunk! hahaa
um translation please
