Power metal bands often do have lousy lyrics(Symphony X, Hammerfall etc.) Stratovarius has a lot of progressive and Symphonic elements and is much less purely power metal than dragonforce. Stratovarius doesn't have great lyrics either, better than the bands i just listed? obviously, but they do not compare to bands like DT, dark tranquility and in flames. To be clear, I don't listen to dragonforce, but I don't have the elitist hate for them.

HAMMERFALL is copying others and themselvesn alike. They have all songs totally simmilar . I don't think it's a bad band but there is NO chance for them to be better than Stratovarius. To do that you have to do more than repeating 2 types of songs all the time...They have few good songs replicated again n again
