I recently stopped wearing wigs and weaves and makeup and even jewellry after 30 yrs., because I accepted Christ into my life and felt as if all that adornment was doing nothing but glorying MYSELF, and not glorying my creator. BUT I'm listening to the intervewer and he is suggesting that weaves actually make a woman more attractive, because he's asking guys if they have ever left a woman because the women looked terrible without the weave.

Weave is just a way to protect our natural hair. Why continuously put chemicals in it? And it makes hair grow faster it doesn't pull it out. Guys make a big deal out of nothing...it's just hair. Looks shouldn't matter to him in a relationship anyways, so why not let her wear what makes her feel prettier?

Wtf every happened to " I am not my hair." It is more important what's in a person's heart! Hair is an accessory just like fake nails(your nails aren't really that long), high heels(your not that tall), fake eyelashes, wonder bras, makeup, etc. Why is everyone like " If you have a weave you don't love yourself! I wore weave for 2 1/2 years and my edges were breaking and was a Hott mess. When I stumbled on Youtube I found the natural hair community and my life changed. There is no excuse to keep wearing the weave and damaging your hair when there is so much information available. It is a known fact that weaves and relaxers will seriously damage your hair. Hell, u might even go bald and then you will really be dependent on someone elses hair. Just a thought.. Natural all the way baby
