  • I'm currently in the process of getting my degree in Arabic and your pronunciation is rough.

I appreciate the attempt but there are a lot of problems in your videos even just in the basics: in pronunciation, in letter shaping and formation, etc.

It's difficult to teach other when you don't really know yourself.

  • haha, you can never pronounce ein and rien correctly :p

  • I speak English, I'm diving head first and trying to teach myself some Arabic, hahahaa. This should be interesting, eh I think it's a better use of time than facebooking and watching tv xD.

  • Comment removed

  • @sabMysterrr . it is not ubbihuk .it is (( uhhibuk )) it means love you...you can also say (( ana uhhibuk )) .where (( ana )) means (( i )) and (( uhhibuk )) means ((love you ))..and in Arabic it is ( انا احبك ).it consists of 2 words and 7 letters where the first word is ((انا )) which means (( i )) and consists of 3 letters ( ا - alf ).( ن - noon ).( ا - alf ). and the other word is (( احبك )) means ((love you)) and consists of 4 letters ( ا - alf ).( ح - hah ).( ب - ba ).( ك - keff )

  • hi! u definatly hav talents girl!really impressed with how quick you write, i hope u dont mind me saying but u are pronouncing and writing a few of the letters incorrectly i hope i dont come across as arrogant or rude that is not my intention but just dont want people to get confused. E.g غ is pronounced GHain its a gutteral sound, kinda like when u gargle. Theres no r sound in it etc. u mentioned egypt, did u learn in egypt, what centre? the dialect of arabic spoken in egypt is ammiyah.

    peace x

    i’m arabic Girl ^^

    that’s good .. But the It’s live gh ^^

    THANK YOU :*

  • if you dont mind me adding something to your video, the sound of غ is ( a bit ) similar to the sound of the English word ( gain ) its not exactly similar but it gets you one step closer to the correct pronunciation :)

  • 26 people who saw this are either rednecks or work for the cia. :D

Great vids, keep up the good work!!!

  • The letters of the alphabet that you wrote are not in the right place.

  • @maximus9ish I think so. The girl is messing everything up. I think she's confusing the name of the letters with their pronounciation.

  • @Wales8686 what ur problem man ..!! she is trying to help only .. shut up ..!! did she invite you to come .!

  • wah is before yeh

  • MashAllah your way fo teaching is very good.

  • HAHAHA that's so great !!!!

P.S: ur pronunciation is so cute :)

  • MashAllah! You are really good.

  • For those of you making jokes about this language, y'all are f#cking dumb! I am a Muslim and this language ain't for you, that's why you can't understand it.. Racist pigs! You don't understand "jihad". This woman ain't Muslim but atleast shes trying.

  • @desert2012warrior the language is not for muslim's alone come on lets realistic here. There are Christian's arabic speaking.

  • I amof Syrian and Lebanese grandparents...and am going to the mid east next year...this is GREAT!

  • Can you read it fluently or do you still take time to think of each of the letters and what they represent? (It's been 2 years, i'm guessing you can read it fluently now.)

That's what happens to me in Russian, but I'm getting quicker at reading as time goes by,=)

  • what is hein??? lol im jokin but im not, the pronunciation of some letter's are really off sis, im not trying be an ass tho for real.... the E'in an "a" like sound with the air restricted from your throat its very difficult for me but it has no "h" like sound at all... Also the Ghein is a "gh"sound for the back of the throat like gargling if u can catch what i mean.... Also the Hah and heh u have them backwards...peace

  • where's part 3?!

  • shoekran

  • Comment removed

  • @Mindraker1 Obvious troll is obvious

  • @Mindraker1 -.- troll

  • Where is part 3 posted? Thanks

  • you should not be teaching this no offense, but your pronounciation is just not good on this video and the previous one...wtf..Rein for Ghayn?

  • Thank you

  • more proper pronounciation of your 'rein' should be Ghain, in sense acutally reading and reciting the of the language, and there is only one r sound in the Arabic language which is Ra.

  • You've done an excellent job for someone who's done it for only 2 weeks as you claimed.

But, you need a little practice on the pronounciation of some of the letters and also on the proper writing of some of the letters. You need an Arabic speaking person to help out in those two areas.

But, once again. You've done an excellent job.

  • u said "hah" twice but great effort! :)

  • Thanks for this! I hope it will help me to learn quickly....

  • Thanks a lot! This helped me a ton. I have to admit that I was a bit intimidated about the Arabic letters because they all looked the same to me and the different forms of the same letter were so different and I had no idea how to actually write them, where to start the stroke and all of that. It was great to see you actually draw the letters so I could clearly see how they're written.

  • what is the difference between the hah sound after the jeem sound and the hah sound after noon the noon sound

  • it doesn't mean every one is perfect, she is tryin to teach what she knows and i think she learn it that way so dont blame her coz she is triying to help people who doesn't know the alphabet.

  • yeah i think you kinda messed up wahw comes before the yaa'a

  • Very crisp teaching style, my brain likes it! To the point yet nicely contextual without drifting into the abstract. It's completely effortless to follow and gives energy instead of taking it. Perhaps in teaching and learning it's important to mix people whose synaptic network is clocked in a similar way.

  • nice video, i can now read the vehicle plate numbers in saudi...

  • the acsent is wrong

  • heeeey nicee u r really gd but the letter غ u can remember the sound of Gargling hhh its like gggrrr yeah and its like the letter R in french.. so it Pronounce n arabic like geen

  • Thank you Laurie :)

You inspired me to learn Arabic language

  • thanks Lory : )

but i believe that "و" comes before "ي",so the last letter is yah..

    it's really helping non-Arabian people

  • @RJE06 this is not important

  • plz don't hate me but you don't give the right pronociation i'm arabic and i use arabic every and i know that it's hard but you should work harder ===> any way nice work

  • To be honest, I cant think of a reason to spent time memorizing the ordering of the alphabet. This lesson was presented by someone who understand the Arabic alphabet enough to present it in a logical way. Who cares if its unconventional?

Do you reaaallly need to know the order of the letters? Outside of alphabetization, I can't think of the last time I really needed to know the order of the alphabet. Prioritize your learning, seriously

  • @PremiumDriedFruit oh, i just assumed that this was the official ordering. Anyway, the way that it is presented in the video is definitely the most logical.

  • I am an Arab and we are happy with this lesson ;)

    Waiting for new works <3

  • I don't mean to be mean but this is just not a great video.

Your handwriting is off sometimes. Your pronunciation isn't that great and your order is off.

I'm not even a native speaker and I can see these problems.

  • 1:10 Oh God I can't even do it.

You totally made me laugh there. That's absolutely how I feel whenever I make a mistake in speaking another language. Your alphabet lesson rocks by the way.

  • The hook of the q goes down; it's not like f. And the n has a short loop and goes down.

  • try to pronounce correctly "ayn". You must know that any sign must be written from right to left even fatha kasra and damma.

  • we Pronounce the letter غ like r in french.

  • surely thatd be a "Loorie" sound not L(au)rie

  • @3bodyalshehri ohhh i dont know that thanks :D

  • @3bodyalshehri i made that comment because i thought it should be brought to her attention that it does matter. it is confusing for beginners especially since she kept the order for the majority of the lesson, one could question what they've already acquired. she should either mention it in the info, or the video ..

  • Thank you, it's very easy. Thank you

  • why arabic write from right to left? that confuse

  • @fiiooree why is english written from left to right?

  • @bongHITZx idk that confuse you i think XD

i dont mean that arabic is stupid just i see it a little weird to me because all lenguages i know spanish, English, italian are written from left to right :D

  • arabic is freakin' hard ! but also i'd be cool to know this language ;]

  • @ewcia1609

Its much easier than Chinese or Greek :^)

  • at the end when you're teaching vowels as well, isn't 'yaw' a vowel as well ... it gives a long 'ii' sound.

  • i'm trying to learn arabic ..

i was just wondering why you showed 'yaw' before 'waw' .. from my learning, i've learned 'waw' before 'yaw' to be the correct order.

  • رائع جداً , أستمر على هذا النحو .

    أتمنى لك التوفيق :) ,,,

  • :-)

  • hi i'm Arabic and actually "wow" is before "ya"

  • yes

  • @megamicx I know. The alphabet is the most important part to learning Arabic.

  • um since ur arabic, i have a question cuz im learning the alphabet in arabic and well my friend is arabic too and shes teaching me but well, on this vid did she do it wrong? like isnt the "hein and rein" before taw and thaw?

  • @JeanB4444 ظ and ط are before ع and غ

  • Okay so the English Alphabet is from A-Z now if i was wanting to translate something from arabic writing to enhlish your guide would not help cause you used more bloody characters than there is in the alphabet and you never even told us what arabic letter was in english, Arghhh it was a good video too apat from them bad point, i will look elsewhere.

  • hein and rein is wrong .. its more like Aain and Ghain .. gosh its hard to make english speaking ppl to pronunce proper arabic letters lol

  • Tallone90>>there is only one way to write

    ahmad

    A > أ

    h > ح

    m > م

    ad > د

    Ahmad > أحمد

  • good video. does anyone know how to write Ahmad in arabic i have seen many different ways of doing it and i have been curious to know which one is right?

  • if you still learn it, then it's better for you to learn it than teach it ^^ it's amazing that A lot of people interesting in this language ^ــــــــ^

  • you have very nice handwriting. i have been familiar with arabic for about 5 years now, studying off and on by books alone. it is nice to see someone going through the motions and verbally explaining as you have. how did you become interested in this language? i can speak the language so so but writing is a different story...good job girl! mzian! bon fete! allah yatik saha!

  • well .. you teach good for someone who not arabi ... keep it ^^ ... and If you need any help ask me ... :D

  • good video, a little mispronunciation, but still good. the "rein" is tranliterated with ghein(or ghain like the sound flY) it's a more "throaty" thing. still, after a few weeks, you're doing well. you can only explain what you understand. =)
