I agree, she's been hacking since like season 1 and so it makes sense that she has become an expert at it. After seven years of doing the same thing, I expect her to be really good at it. Makes perfect sense to me. I love REPORTER CHLOE! They better be putting her back into reporter mode soon!

Chloe is my favorite too, but when they make her help Clark too much, the writers fail to concentrate on CHLOE! I love Chloe and as much as I love seeing her and Clark work together, I also loved how she was always going after stories ON HER OWN too in the earlier episodes. It made her even more awesome and I think that is what wtcvidman below was trying to say.

I hope they do. That (along with the whole Veritas storyline) was a very stupid thing for them to do. They created so many contradictions to previously established facts with Veritas. Veritas was interesting, but very poorly thought out.

i agree with you, but dedicating a whole season to it and then just dropping it was pretty stupid, but i guess to many people hated the story line so they had to come up with a new one.

Plus, it was impossible to do it without Lex. It was a stupid idea for them to do it when they knew Michael Rosenbaum said he was done playing Lex after season 7 ended.

Even though it's his show, I think since season 4 or maybe 5, he received too little air time. In season 6, at times it felt like the Green Arrow show. I seriously hope the focus this season is put back mainly on Clark. I hope his ridiculous dependence on Chloe ends and Chloe is turned back into the same interesting, realistic but flawed character that she used to be. Lately she's been shown to be too perfect & with unrealistic computer skills. Go season 8!!

My entire problem with that is that her hacking abilities popped out of the blue in season 5. Before that, she never was able to hack. Instead, she resorted to an assortment of contacts she had. I liked her back then much better because she was more realistic. Now she's like the answer to every problem. So much that I think Clark looks like a lazy fool most of the time because she's doing the investigating that Clark used to do with her computer.

I agree. Chloe is my favorite character and I hate how they turned in in season six and seven. I miss season 1-5 Chloe! She was awesome... I don't mind her helping Clark out, I just want her also doing her own stuff and yes, I want her flawed. It's what made her so HUMAN and WONDERFUL in the past seasons. I don't like perfect Chloe. That's Lana's territory.
