@yarsinc I don't give a shit who did what first, The two sounds are worlds apart in construction and interpretation. I like both, until Floyd went away from their roots. The "Core" Floyd albums were pretty insightful. Electronic Meditation came from a different creative thought than say Ummagumma, which was the band's first concept album that refers to what you call "This shit" and that was in '69 which is "post Barret" by a year. Gilmour had replaced him '68. In '62 Barret was 15.
@TheZenRider1 "Today they [i.e., the Jesuits] are stronger in the United States than they ever were in any of the countries of Europe which expelled them as a menace to the government." (1912)
@TheZenRider1 "[Wherever] a totalitarian movement erupts, whether Communist or Nazi [Fascist], a Jesuit can be found in the role of 'adviser' or leader; in Cuba [it was] [Jesuit-trained] Castro's 'Father' Armando Llorente..."

@TheZenRider1 My arguement exactly and the fighting that goes on about the differences in mood playing keyboards make no dif to me as long as I or you or anyone else who likes it keeps up these arguements. It's good reason to enjoy first, then fight after all the drugs are gone afterwords.lololo.
I just scanned through the entire album and this is NOT on it!! It IS on their "Atmospherics" album with this title, but the version on the original album is a COMPLETELY different song!!

I love the album, but i always felt it was too Pink Floyd-y.
Especially with the stolen melody.
Though what did set this album apart from Pink Floyd was Froese's absolutely amazing guitar solos.

@Godscarmachine Pink floyd stole his first sounds from the KRAUTROCK, THE GERMAN SOUND IN GERMANY 60'S idiot...
