There needs to be a royal commision when labour gets in and people put in jail if found to be guilty. The so called Australian newspaper carried the story but also protected Howard. Have a rant about the price of carrots in woolworths, have a useless housing summit, set up a committee to look at petrol prices. fare amount of effort, well done. john howard has put a long stint as PM and... we're humans, we'll always find problems to try and solve... so, fair go... he's done a fair bit of work and he's getting old, but hey, he did an alright job... ok maybe things are getting boring.. but like, its not like there is anyone really in any party that is going to make things "interesting.. just thinking out aloud... good to see that people are thinking!

Exactly. Just "an alright job." He's been getting paid well to do the job he put his hand up for and a job that requires he listen to and serve the people. He rarely does this. And you're right... he's too old... with old views and his actions and words are scarily disconnected to the world's present situation and the action it needs for it's future sustainability. Howard does not understand the concept of sustainability!
