Lots of kids that age can play at that level. It's not bad, but it's not what I'd consider "master" or "prodigy" etc. That said, if he stays with it he'll be a guitar menace when he's older - and one thing for sure -he'll be a seasoned performer.

Pretty good for seven. When did he start playing, at five? I hope he keeps it up and becomes a metal master like me! And skinny? I was always skinny, my metabolism burned anything FAST, and I even tried gaining weight later on. A whole box of 12 ice cream sandwiches, TWO large steaks and a HUGE baked potato. Junk food, snacks, snacks, snacks, NOTHING would do it. I think I finally gained 3 pounds at about 18 yrs., but it didn't last. I actually got tired of eating 4 - 5 hours a day.
