This song is the only Yeah Yeah Yeahs song I can tolerate. The guitar and bass parts suck though. It's so lazy and boring. It sounds like they shot up some heroine and thought what they were doing was cool. Thank goodness for the mediocre drummer holding it down.

I'm not saying that Victor Wooten and Joe Satriani need to step in for these guys. All I'm saying is that the guitar parts are ridiculously boring, to where it sounds like they put in too little effort. If they were going for simplistic they could have made the parts less annoying. That first guitar riff (where it's the same note plucked endlessly) is obnoxious.

Karen O was definitely crying during this video, the story goes that the band was supposed to leave for tour as soon as they finish filming this video and Karen had invited her boyfriend to the shoot, except he didn't show up even though this was the song that she had written for him, them. Anyway, turns out this was the best cut of the shoot so the director kept it.
