@westbrionage sorry for the confusing title, this is for flash cards. those are basically game cards, but you can put in a memory card and do whatever you want. those are always updated for various reasons, and it's a good idea to update them.

@westbrionage it is basically like a jailbroken ipod. that means that you can run things that nintendo didn't want you to have on the ds. you can watch movies, listen to music, play game roms which are basically downloaded games (legal or not), and applications.

it's ok, yes you do have to buy it online, since no stores sell it. it would be better though to buy m3 zero i instead of an ak2i if you don't have a flashcart yet

never heard of that, but i think you should try it. if it works it works, if not then no.

Bad idea.. In all aspects. regardless of whether the firmware can flash, the internal hardware is drastically different for the two. There's a significantly high chance of bricking your DS Lite, making it useless.
