LOL..first and formost Nigga (Naga/Negus) is an ancient word..a title of endearment or of Kingship so when we call each other Niggas we do it as it is interchangable with brother, Son, God..or any other term of endearment..when white ppl say it its just becuz they want 2 do and copy everything Niggas do...They began 2 call us Niggers when we became ignorant of the facts and started 2 "believe" shit that was a lie

It's entirely depending on who's saying it, and who's hearing it. A paranoid person may take any racially insensitive remark as 'racist.' A laid back person might take a racist remark as a bit funny. Those two examples aren't polar opposites, mind you, so there's an entire array of possibilities.

Now if somebody feels they are more entitled to use the 'n' word (IE: Lighter-skinned racists), they may assume others have less of that justified right to use the word. Which is crap.
