I owned this when I was little, and I believe my grandfather may have helped organize a lot of the show jumping riders, his name was Bob Freels... i would watch this over and over and over again! I was at work and I heard the voice and new it right away, right down to the part about JetRun being "deceptively fast against the clock" he was always my favorite as a kid...along with Touch of Class... Thank you so much for posting! I can't wait to watch more...I love Grey Goose too!!!

wow this footage was from awhile ago because now riders in grand prix the norm verticals start at 5 1/2 ft. and can go up to 6+ ft. spreads. Horses are pure power!

iam amazed by my horse shes a mixed blooded mare and last week she jumped about 125 cm

in the begining of her training she was jumping about 50 cm

for the record- Barney Ward was accused and pleaded guilty to killing horses to collect insurance money along with 23 other people. Google it if you don't believe me.

I did not know this but am not surprised. Barney was extremely rough on horses, unpleasantly so, One of the problems with documentaries is that they must be updated but this is very costly and rarely happens.

Mine could AT LEAST 135 cm., when it was younger.. :) Now it's 16 years old, we're not jumping as high and big competitions anymore, it's done enough great things in its life :)
