hey, thanks for upping this. ever since that rihanna song came out, I KNEW I heard the melody someone from my childhood. tried wikipedia, but all was stated was: "The song samples Michael Jackson's 1983 single "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'", which in turn was derived from the Manu Dibango 1972 single "Soul Makossa", hence the "Mama say mama sa ma-makossa" that is interpolated in the bridge of the song." they should add this in too!

Yea I just listened to "Don't Stop The Music" and I thought "hello- I've heard that before somewhere" so I typed in "la isla bonita please don't stop the music" into google and this pops up.

It's obviously a rip-off but then so many people are doing blatent rip-offs these days, very little is original.
