  • Caught these guys at my local blues bar on a Sunday night a few years ago and they blew the damn roof off the joint. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. The band had Monday off so they stayed in town, came by the bar that night and played for a couple more hours. Sat around drinking and talking with everyone. Just a great group of folks and Pat was a real gentleman. RIP and thank you for the music.

  • love the purple suit haha

  • Great band...fantastic harp player!!

  • R.I.P Mr. Ramsey. Although, stuff like this is proof that you never can really die.

  • FIVE STAR BLUES!

When I was in college, Pat Ramsey lived across the street from me.

It was an honor to know Pat, who had played with Johnny Winter. Pat was also a friend of (and maybe jammed with or backed up) Butch Trucks and Richard Betts.

Pat was cool then, and he is just as cool now.

From time to time I run into Pat, and we take a moment to share good memories.

    Play on, Pat Ramsey!

  • @suziemcalister Pat passed away on November 17, 2008. Are you speaking metaphorically?

  • 5 stars from me!!!!

  • i thouth was the doors version

  • Great song and tight groove. I still remember you playing on the Johnny Winter LP (I still have it at home) I remember that you were giving the "shit" out of your harp that was really excellent blues rock. Now I see that you just went fine for all theses years and still "rock" Great stuff !

  • Good stuff! What is that huge mic that Ramsey's playing?

  • I guess it's an old astatic microphone a favorite of many harp players

  • I think it's a customized Turner mic.

  • I talked to Pat seven or eight years ago at a gig in South Florida. He told me the shell is an American, and the element is dynamic, but he doesn't know what kind. A friend cobbled the mic together for him. He calls it the harp mic from heaven. :-)

  • yea man ,this cat got some shit
