Fuckin' brilliant. Whenever I've seen Dawn and Jen interviewed recently they say that the younger comedians are doing better sketch shows, but I don't think so at all. There will never be another double act as sophisticated and hilarious and beautiful and down-to-earth and joyful as these two. They make me happy to be alive :) and proud to be English. Love them.

@jenniferlouisewright Yes and I think it takes quite a talent to be funny when you're an attractive person like Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French. As you'll notice a lot of comedians usually have some sort of weird misshapen face or something a little weird about them that enhances their comedic skills, but these two seem to be able to be bloody hilarious despite their appearance.

I wasn't sure at first but I think Hereiam75 is right. If you look at the French subtitles it says Sasha, Ford, et Tara aussi, which means 'also/too'. I think it's funnier that way, like 'oh yes, and lets not forget the other one..Tara.'

No, she is actually saying Sasha, 4, and Tara, 2. These are Joan Collins' real children with Anthony Newley, and she doesn't have a child called Ford. The french subtitles are a bit of a mess (they keep calling them San Angelo when it should be Santangelo).

But what's brilliant about this skit is that it captures the very essence of each sister. It displays Joan love of drama both on and off the set, as well as Jackie's inclination toward sensationalism. "It's hot, it's steamy, it's scandalous...", it's totally her.

I think I've seen nearly all the F&S satires, but this is surely one of the best. The facial expressions, the slightly peculiar vowel sounds, the walk, the gestures, everything - it's the Collins sisters to a tee. Both have this wonderful ability to slip into someone else's skin and be them. Transcendent.
