In 1999 I was in Atlanta, at the airport, and a very young soldier was asking on a nearby desk if there was space on the plane, to which the attendant told him there wasn´t. Suddenly a businessman, maybe in his 60´s with a very nice suit approached the clerk and told the attendant he was going to trade his seat with the soldier. The young man said "no thanks", but the man told him "listen son, you are not going to contradict me on this", in an authoritarian but friendly manner...
I think the soldier was young enough to be his son, and he was very happy with what had happened. They went on having a conversation, but I had to board and didn´t saw what happened next. But it always amazed me the respect people showed to the soldiers. You might not agree with the policy that sends them out there, but you have to respect their courage to go there.
To all of our men and women thank you for a job well done and you are all my heroes. Have a safe journey home and be safe and blessed in your jobs there..
to all of our men and women in the armed forces thank you for all you do and keeping us safe ik it can't be easy doing everything that you do to protect all of us. You jobs are very important to us here at home. I hope some day that all of you can come home and when you do have a safe journey home.
As a mom with 2 young men being redeployed to Afghanistan within 6 months of returning home from Iraq, I really appreciate the support that ALL of our soldiers recieve from everyone Thank You!
God Bless these men & women who go over there and put there lives on the line for US every single day. Anyone who doesn't stand and clap is no American in my eyes!
I remember this clip. Was in a sports bar of rough n tumble blokes an gals and I had just gotten to America. When this started playing it got very quiet, you could hear a mouse. Gals became teary and then the guys even and toward the very end the entire pub exploded in applause I thought the walls would fall. That's the first time I really realized what Americans were made of ....GRIT, IRON and HEART.
Taking a moment to say, "Thank you & God bless you" to all the men & women who are serving our great country by serving in the military. For each one of them...I am most grateful.
Today I was coming back from vacation in Florida and saw a U.S. Army Sgt standing with his partner. It took some guts for me to walk up shake his hand and say welcome home sir, because the look on his face was lonely and nearly depressed. But Ill tell you after you get that thumbs up and smile from them, you feel like a million bucks the rest of the day
Thank you so much to our troops, I wish we could see videos like this on TV more. My brother ships out in a couple of months and I am scared to death. But, I know God will be with him. God Bless each and everyone of our troops. You are and always will be in my prayers.
I'm not a super bowl watcher so this is the first time I've seen this commercial. Thank you for posting it here for us. The words 'thank you' don't seem big enough for the men and women protecting us and countless others around the globe. They are all heroes--those with us and those that have fallen. God bless America, our home, sweet home.
Just saw this commercial during a baseball game the other day for the first time in years. I was very happy to see it. You don't have to support the war or this feeble government you all voted into office. Just support our troops. They need to come home healthy and safe to their families and friends.
My son is in Iraq - - hopefully coming home this month. And can you believe it, the beautiful girl with the dark hair in this video works out with me at the gym. What a coincidence? And what a beautiful video!
A friend from work sent me this video and my eyes filled up with tears. I lost my fiancee a year and a half ago in Iraq. Everytime I see a soldier, I stop what I'm doing to thank them. EVERYBODY needs to do this. You don't realize HOW MUCH they appreciate OUR SUPPORT as a country! God Bless
They are soldiers coming home, they have a sense of pride if you want to see what they go through then watch baghdad er. Remember there soldiers and cant go on strike they just do there duty and ask for nothing but a wage. they worship all kinds of different gods but they have one comman bond there all warriors and i am not even American im a British Paratrooper and have served with them in Bagdhad. may god bless them all the land of the free because of the brave
Sir, may God bless you too!! Even though you are not American, it does not matter. The British fought, bled and even died along side American blood for the same thing, peace and security for America, UK and the world. This makes the UK brothers and sisters with the U.S. Thank you for your contribution to the fight and cause. You are appreciated.
Go back to your MTV kid, learn more ebonics and show us all an improved retard in action. Servicement arent running around killing every woman and child in sight.

While I appreciates the efforts of the military, I think its apparent, as demonstrated with communism, that defeating an widespread Ideologly, ie, Radical Islam, by means of military force will always be a fruitless endeavour.
I am proud to see these people in uniform whether they just came from Baghdad, Kabul, Ramstein, Seoul, Travis AFB, USCG,or anywhere else in the world. I back them up 100%. I wish I could thank each and every US Sailor, Soldier, Airman, and Marine for their service. I, for one, will never forget.
If you think you could do better, than why don't you sign up and go over there? I guess you couldn't because your stuck in your parents basement right
yo they sacraficed there lives to save this country....if u died from war and somebody called u a fucker how would u feel...just think about what i said.
It made me cry big time............. we always make sure we shake their hands, smile and or buy their dinner or lunch. WE love you come home soon. On November 7 the French President addressed the House and Senate. You should check and see what he said. It was amazing and shocking.
I love this! I have tears running down my face! yamagoof you are so right, our soldiers are so grateful for such small and simple gestures of gratitude...small and simple compared to their risking their lives for us and this country...it's the least any of us can do! God bless our troops and their families!
I am so grateful for the Men and Women who Help keep safe our country They are a special sort of human. Gods Blessing to them all and strenghts to their Families as they also sacrifice.
I remember seeing this commercial a few years ago. My brother is now in Iraq and everything seems more close to home. Thank you to all those who serve our country and those who have served our country...
I heard from my son on Friday. He was on his way to Iraq. There were several stops along the way and at one of the stops, there was a group of veterans there to greet the soldiers.
They handed the troops each a pair of Bose headphones. "That was nice, huh Ma?", he said.
It always amazes me when our troops are greatful for small gestures from civilians when THEY are risking their lives, missing out on so much at home so you and I can live and live WELL.
The best commercial ever. Thank you Anheuser-Busch. But most of all, THANK YOU to all our great men and women who have answered the call. May God protect you always and may you all know how much we care and appreciate each and every one of you.
Exactly. These people go where their country tells them to go. They put their lives on the line regardless. Soldiers are the bravest of the brave whichever country they come from.
God bless our troops! Soldier's risk their lives with the best intentions to help make this world a better place for all of us, so be God like and let them know how much you appreciate their courage and their sacrifices, because rather than rank with those poor spirits that neither suffer much nor enjoy much, they dare mighty things in the face of grave danger attempting to win glorious triumph for our country, and for all of man kind. Our sincere thanks to all of you! From the Reveen Family.
I don't think you understand the meaning of this commercial. Its about thanking troops for showing the courage to give up life as they know it to serve their country. These are the same people that will be protecting us if an attack occurs on American soil...show some respect to them.
I'm against the war in Iraq...but I don't blame the soldiers over there because they have no choice where they are deployed to. Its all in the politics.
