  • kids born smart, it doesn't matter if their breastfed, and I agree breastfeeding after one is wrong, and I see it as something gross. Infants need Brest feeding for help but as we grow we don't need it any longer. I know person that was breast fed till she was 6 moths old, her grandma gave her soup and she refused to be breastfed after that and her IQ is 164...But really ddont call them psycho, its their parents fault.

  • @LexieDeaves That was my point that a child who isn't breastfed can still have a high I.Q. There's no correlation and the last time I saw this British mom on 20/20 with moms from the USA their excuse was it was for nurturing purposes. The Brit mom stopped btw. I agree it's the parents fault, but other kids can be mean and still pick on them and not one to hang out. My son was eating table food by 4-5 months(mashed potatoes i.e.) and rice cereal in formula. I bf for 4 or 5 weeks.

  • @mia0899cs It is a very fair point, I agree with that... I just don't like to call people things like psycho, I am very sensitive and thats why it kind of effects me when others say it. And breast feeding a kid that can talk is gross, If a kid can comprehend words than he can comprehend the action he is doing. We are born with high IQ's, we can't loose IQ points(its a lie), we can't gain them but we can use our given ability that came with it.

  • @LexieDeaves I apologize for calling people psycho. It doesn't make it right for me to do despite that I was called a lot of nasty names. Infact, I have to monitor all my comments from the bf vids. I agree with you on the I.Q. I did research on bf and the average age worldwide for weaning is 4.2 yrs. My son was insulted prior to this vid and that's why I wanted to share his opinion and show that bf a short time or even not at all will not change a child's I.Q.:)

  • @mia0899cs Thank you for your understanding :) Infants need to be breast fed because it helps them to immune their system but the older they get the less they need it. At the age of 4 they don't need it any longer, they already have a strong immune system; but look on the bright side, they saved some money on food.

  • i understand your views, but getting your kid (who you're filming [good parenting (?)) to call Breast-fed kids sickos is kind of an attack. And you're filming this other kid who's not even yours and posting it on Youtube. Do you even have his parent's permission?

  • @someperson346 It's to prove a point from two mature children that breastfeeding a child is sick. These stupid moms who do this should wake the hell up and if they don't then they need to be arrested. This is wrong!

  • @mia0899cs ... Uh, excuse me, but HOW exactly is breastfeeding a child "sick"? It's completely natural, and honestly, I don't see why anyone should be arrested for breastfeeding. It makes no sense at all. That's like arresting someone for going to the bathroom or eating. Like, what?

  • @malakaki111 Breastfeeding an infant is normal and beneficial and the normal age for weaning worldwide is 4.2 years. A child shouldn't be breastfed because there isn't anything beneficial to it. On 20/20 these moms said it's for nurturing purposes. There are other ways to nurture a child. This is not good for their emotional development.

  • lol how you park ur car anyway ^^ ?

  • @Alexeriks1 I explained why I brought this up. It's sick to be bf a child who is 8 y.o.

It's detrimental for their emotional development. That's too old. Some bf moms of children were saying it increased a child's I.Q. level. Get it now?

  • @Alexeriks1 I did a video responding to this woman bf her 8 y.o. daughter. That's sick and if you are that type of person that would condone this, you're sick!

  • Hope your some got in! :) (Late response, so I can't exactly say good luck.) I've been in the gifted program since first grade, tested in in kindergarten and I absolutely love it! :D I also wasn't breastfeed until I was eight. XD My mom went back to work very soon after I was born, and my dad stayed home; so I don't think I ever was. (Let alone to such a high age.)

Again, hope your son got in,

    PR

  • @PoeticRamblings He missed it by 11 points seriously. They put him in the hardest class and he completed 5th grade math in 4th grade.

  • @mia0899cs Aww, I'm sorry. Bad luck. :( Though that's wonderful! :D Your son is certainly bright!

  • Not good it sucks not funny

  • @Alexeriks1 BF is normal and beneficial to the infant as we should all know that. Now asking my son and his friend if they think one of their friends should be still breastfed at 8 y.o. bothers you, than you have problems. These moms are now saying it is for nurturing purposes. These kids are school aged!! No, it's time for the mom to get help and my son's dad would take my son away from me if I was still bf him and he would be right. This is sick.

  • @Alexeriks1 Look, your 20 y.o. and a guy so you have no clue as to the harm it does emotionally when children are breastfed when they are a school aged child. This has been an argument over bf an 8 y.o. child btw for about 3 yrs now. If you listened to any of my vids, the subject is not that bf is bad. However, you don't bf a child! First, these moms are trying to say it increases the child's I.Q. Well, this was to prove them wrong. I did bf for about 4 wks.

  • @Alexeriks1 It would not be normal for me to breastfeed my son and that is the point since I made a video re: bf an 8 year old child. It's wrong and kids will mock the child and listen to what my son and his friend has to say. Kids do not get breastfed. Babies, infants do and that's it.

  • WTF...you mean some women breast feed their kids when they are 8 years old. strange. I breast fed all mine but for only short period of time. A matter of months. But I see it as very beneficial to the child. But there comes a point when it is just wrong on so many levels.

  • yes, there is a vid of this British woman to the right of this vid under related vids who did and she said she stopped when she was on 20/20 last year when it aired. However, I am shocked to see how many women were still bf their school aged kids who could read. I agree with you, but for almost 3 yrs this has been an ongoing debate and argument with quite a few people.

  • You are one sick person to think it is alright to breastfeed a child. It's repulsive and you need help seriously. I should report you to the FBI because you have an obsession with some children.

  • Keep the rock for your momma!

  • Comment removed

  • 1st, your child thinks it is weird and disgusting; it's all he hears from you! I find it a bit odd myself, but it's not my place to judge. 2nd, do you understand the concept of correlation? Research suggests simply that breastfed children are more likely to have higher IQs. There are going to be cases that fall outside the realm of results. You saying breastfeeding has no impact on IQ is no better than saying breastfeeding will make you a genius. Please look up the meaning of CORRELATION!

  • Well, your first argument is wrong because the boy in the back is not my child. It's not judging to point out that it's wrong to breastfeed a child who is 8 y.o. There is no correlation between bf and a child having a higher I.Q. These women, who really are being nurtured by having their children bf , instead of the other way around should really seek psychological help. It is emotionally damaging and it is our right to say something because a minor is involved.

  • And as your son's friend I'm sure he has heard plenty of this. You were also leading him w/ how you asked. And where is your proof that there is no correlation between breastfeeding and IQ because that's all I can find. Even the one study I read that said breastfeeding was not directly responsible still implied it was indirectly responsible. That's not the same as saying formula fed babies are stupid. I have an IQ well over 100 and I was not breast fed. & where is proof of emotional damage?

  • LMAO! No, we don't sit around talking about breastfeeding you weirdo! He has a brother who is 2 y.o. His mom doesn't still bf. It's sick when they are a child at 8 y.o. Now, they are saying on 20/20 that they bf because of nurturing. Well, drawing breasts and naming them like those 2 girls with the British Mom is enough evidence for me that it is emotionally damaging! Do what you want, but when it comes to children people care and that's why they say it's not right. They have teeth and eat!

  • Well, good luck on your misguided mission. You don't seem to really pay attention to anything being said and have yet to produce any substantial proof to support your claim. I'm pretty well over you and your nonsense replies. Also, infant's teeth can start coming in as young as 4 months. Are you telling me I should stop bf because my baby happens to have teeth and can have cereal at 4 months? I suggest you find PROOF to support your stance, it makes for a stronger argument.

  • I think when your child is 8 y.o. you should definitely stop breastfeeding because your comprehension isn't too bright.

  • hey weird woman, why so troubled about that mom who breast feed kid at 8. You didnt have even milk for two weeks for your kids. you are jealous of others who have milk. I agree with her, a kid can choose whether to stop or not. and moms can decide to breast feed the kid not you. mom have to breast feed as long as kids want. are you promoting bottlefeeding?

  • everyone can have an opinion, but socially, in this society, a mom is fucking up their child, don't you think sucking on your mothers tits at the age of 11 would damage you sexually?

to me it's almost child molestation.

and your comment about "Not having milk after two weeks" is false, when you stop feeding, then the milk stops.

  • jessica, I am not an expert on breasts. I didnt know when stop feeding, milk stop. I will ask wife not to stop:). what I hear often, Europeans want kids to be independent so they teach kids to get used to the bottle. may be bcos no time. but moms who have time can breastfeed longer. molestation on breast feeding, hardly can believe. Its depend on how the child receive it to mind. when longer on breats, get addicted. just like kids used to suck thumb, continue untill 20s. all this, is about love.

  • This person doesn't understand. I thought my son and his friend could get the point across since you see my related vid on bf at 8 y.o. has over 1.7 mill views. Who's obsessed?

  • My point is you do not bf at 8 y.o. It affects the child's emotional development. Jealous of bf? Are you sick? I had plenty of milk, but we aren't talking about a baby! I'm not troubled about it, I was harassed by my opinion.

  • badass kid cause you're a badass Mom

  • badass kid? lmao! He's a straight A student being tested for the gifted program. Don't call my kid names, you bully!

  • And think how much smarter he would have been, had you breast feed him.

just kidding, I don't believe in that either.

  • hahaha! You got me for a second!

  • Both boys are smart and good looking kids, and yes one day James will have a garage band. My son who's a lot older had a band and I loved it. You're a cool mom and you'll love it too. My son is still in the music business and doing Great. I always give you a 5 Star keep up the good work. Thanks for another great video. ~Andree'

  • in the BATTLE BETWEEN BOTTLE and BREAST breast always WINS

  • Yeah! I like big boobs.. xD

  • Those kids don't look nothing like Riley !! LOL ----Hey Girl !!

  • Congrats! and good luck!

  • Good Luck James :D

  • Gifted! That's sexy! Tell your son I said he's quite handsome.

  • Thanks! The girls already have crushes on him. He is very competitive in school. I don't have to push him to do his homework which is great. He comes home and does it right away or does it in school. His vocabulary words aren't easy, but he gets an A+ all the time without me even having to go over them with him. I think I'll post a video on how he was different from a young age.

  • James is a genius. :-))

  • That's sweet Tom! I know he was smarter than I was when I was his age. I still earned all A's, however, I think I had to work more at it. He's bossy and we both know that, lol! Oh, I want to make a vid that people thought he should be on ritalin when he was 3 y.o. He was a typical boy, however, maybe taking more risks. There are so many kids on ritalin and it is a bad drug. We really worked with him which meant hiking and so forth. Other parents are lazy.

  • Ritalin for a THREE-YEAR OLD??

    What LUNATICS recommended that?

    That stuff damages the brain.

The earlier it's started, the more screwed up the kid will be in later years.

  • hahha man your son's gonna be a really good manager for a record company one day cindy later

  • lol! Yes, he would be good at that. He has mentioned that he wants to be a doctor. James really is a leader and not a follower. He loves getting good grades and I should tell our story. This kid was playing Chess at 4 y.o. He bought the game at a yard sale and I taught him the moves and he never forgot them. I don't push him either. I would be proud of him no matter what gift he had.

  • The GifTed caN OnlY proDuce The GiFted.

  • What a nice comment! They say that the child's IQ comes from the mother. James is probably smarter than I was at his age. I had to work harder at getting straight A's. I was a geek I guess, but he doesn't care either. I would read the dictionary when kids were doing drugs.

  • Government schools:

A white kid scores 132 on pssa and is declined, yet a latino kid scores 114 and is accepted.

I speak from experience, it took congressional interferrence to right this wrong.

Government schools want nice kids to grow up to be good government employees, not smart kids to be self sufficient.

    Great Vid

  • Thanks and James says YO YO YO piece out dog!

  • Oh, I also made a vid that I didn't upload yet but it deals with, "No child left behind." I don't agree with this. Now, I have to pay higher school taxes because they have more classes. My son was in the highest tripod doing 4th grade math in third grade. If he had to wait for other kids, he would be bored. I also am including that parents have to teach their children also and not rely on just the teachers like you have previously discussed.

  • Dont forget, you can always get more work for your kid to do from his eacher, I do all the time. Boredom will kill your kids drive in school.

Also, call his teacher at least once a week, keep her on her toes and dedicated to your kid.

    Love ya

  • hi. although i always support you its pretty obvious to me that your 'homie' James thinks that 8 year old child being breastfeed since he was raised by an aweosme mommy.

as fo freind one has to admit that is pretty rare and most of all extremely hard getting used to see an 8 year old being breastfed.

also aside from isolated cases, most the time what defines you as smarter and more capable in future is not your iq but the incentivation to study and work you have as an infant. best of lucks cindy

  • thanks

  • lol your son is adorable. He's like "Who ever does that is a sicko!"

  • lol! Thanks! I've been having a long debate on breastfeeding children.

  • Gifted education is kinda silly... I was in it from grade school through jr high.. All they do is try and make you solve weird puzzles and whatnot that supposedly non-gifted people would have trouble with. I got no real extra-education out of it. They could have taught us advanced math or science but instead the "puzzles" were pointless. They are better off getting decent grades and going on to what they like afte rgraduating H.S. Smarts don't always help, and can make one a target. True story.

  • Interesting! I don't think these I.Q. tests are accurate either to tell you the truth. Anyway, he took 4th and started 5th grade math in third grade.

  • Yeah, most stuff like that is inaccurate like the ADD crap... kids always had energy and they grow out of it the majority of the time. There are still adults around that think kids should shoosh and be still...gimme a break. That's them being odd and not the kids haha I don't believe in much stuff about IQ tests or psychology though some of it is a bit useful.

  • Kids being gifted is slightly overrated. Its a proud moment for a parent yes however gifted children tend to have emotional and psychological problems and its in part of parents puttlng alot of pressure on them!! I am sure you aren't that way as you are a peaceful and kind soul but beware of teachers and other adults that can cast that type of influence and push just a tad too hard!!

  • I agree! I have another vid on how he was different and you can't push this kid to do anything that he doesn't want. He is stubborn and bossy, but what was strange when he was 3 y.o. people thought he had ADD. He just had a lot of energy and was always curious about things.

  • Yeah, I think it's ridiculous that people act as if formula fed kids are less intelligent. They aren't.

Genetics plays a much larger role in I.Q. You can't fix stupid with breast milk. LOL

I was breastfed AND formula fed (a combo of both), and I was in the gifted and talented program in my Elementary school too. =D

  • I agree that genetics plays a larger role.

  • Congrads to you Cyndi & yer son!!!! That's awesome!!!!

  • my last comment, to conclude my thought, and not making the mom go to jail or any fines (unless she gets caught 2 or 3 or more times... set a number before fining her) but the mom should have to work with social workers on what is healthy and what is overly parenting and over the line of healthy (mentally, physically, emotionally, enviromentally, age wise) and also make her take parenting classes, if the dad is letting this happen he has the same punishment.

  • I agree with you! My son is still close to me and bf didn't have an impact obviously. I think these moms use an excuse because they can't face that their babies are growing up. I only have one child and I let him have more freedom as he can prove his maturity abilities. I want to post a vid on this. I do interact with my son by watching movies and playing board games and going swimming with him. However, he prefers to hang out with his friends which is normal.

  • so here is my thought on what should or could be a solution, impose a law stating after this child is __ years old then the child can not touch or see the breasts... if the mom wants to pump still weird but hey at least the kid is not sucking on them...

  • lol love this vlog, it makes the obvious point, the kids would be picked on (I do have a sort of solution although I don't want more government rules but for the kids in these cases I think it may be needed, some parents need strict guidelines or they will not be raising their kids in a healthy enviroment, over nurturing, controlling or over anything is not healthy... to much of a good thing can be a bad thing (breast feeding, fruits anything)

  • For 2 yrs. I was ridiculed by my bf vid and that's why I had to bring this topic up. Some parents are over nurturing. I will hug my son and I always told him that I loved him and that I was proud of him. That works fine and sometimes he does want to be cuddled and that's okay. I do think the government might have to get involved with moms who bf their children. It's not healthy for their emotional development. It was on 20/20 a few months ago and these moms were in the USA.

  • i was breast fed and dropped out of school... lol

    xoexo

  • lol! I guess you had to read my comments on bf an 8 y.o. child. I was ridiculed so much for that vid and I still am by some on my bf parody.

  • i remember that video of yours

i had seen that before i 'knew' who you were. it had me lauging so hard!

    xoexo

  • I was breastfed and dropped out of 12th grade, my oldest was not (nurse showed me wrong when I was doing it right!) and my oldest could be a grade ahead but she wants to fit in, how did you get your son comfortable with his intelligence? I want some advice on that!

  • Let him do what he wants to do.

  • haha...funny you made this vid. i wasn't breastfed and i was in gifted classes my whole grade school career, from 1st grade. yeah baby! non-breastfed kids unite! lol....

  • 2 yrs. on YT I had so many people telling me that bf increased the child's IQ and I disagreed, so that's why I titled this vid that way. I think it was an excuse for moms to bf their children. I wasn't bf either and my grades were great all through college too. Yes, non-breastfed kids unite!!!!

  • Go Mom O.O

  • lol! Thanks! Boys are tough to raise though!!!! Always active, but it's rewarding.
