  • Is it true that Dierdre did not leave Celtic Woman on good terms?

  • Comment removed

  • look at lisa with a man at 3:58

see orla with a man too at 4:01

double look at meav at first with a man at 4:06

    but rejected :(

instead hooks up with this guy at 4:11

  • damm now this is hot!

    lisa has a guy

    orla has a man too

but Meav is so lucky she has 2 men!!!! and their fighting for her beauty

  • As I was coming out of a CW concert on December the 11th (last Sunday), I met David Downes! He was so nice! I asked him for an autograph and a hug (I am so weird), and he gave me both. He was soooooooooo nice!

  • 35 guys are jealous of the 4 guys in this video

  • how many shows did they do,one a day or one big perfornence at this location

  • I do Irish dance... Ceilis are fun

  • I can't wait to see them on Dec 1st.

  • I love Orla's Part. Its the one I would choose (If I was a girl)

  • ahhh I love this song so much :) Meav's part is so funny!

  • This is an awesome song, it always makes me want to dance. Plus Orla Lisa and Meav are my favourites out of the Celtic Women :)

  • am i the only teenager who Luvs international l music?

  • @sassynerdprincess281

    Nope, not at all.

  • I love this song! Nuff said...

  • the fiddler's feet must aching!

  • I have been ryong to keep a track if they come to UK...and they dont...and there ia no planned tour for 2012 either. Thats so not good.

  • This song has been stuck in my head 24/7 for the last 48 hours or so.... I LOVE this song... so addicting...

  • That was awesome! Amazingly talented and equally hot!

  • who was this song written by?

  • I like At the Ceili best with Lisa, Orla, and Meav. Alex and Lynn are great singers too, but this just isn't their type of song. Lisa provides a steady and pleasant sound, Orla provides a beautiful and rich quality, and Meav gives the audience energy and a soaring kind of voice.

  • song gives me chills! am absolutely in love with Celtic Woman <3 :).

    Erin Go Bragh! :)

  • That is it! I HAVE to learn how to play the spoons!

  • What the heck is a ceili??? Is it like and Irish bar or club??

I really like the song it's pretty. ^-^

  • @Bluestartheleader A ceili is a party where people dance a lot and drink together. Great song indeed ^.^

  • @Bluestartheleader...No Ceili's came about long before the invent of bars and pubs...A Ceili is simply a social gathering, usually taking place in the town center..there would be music, dancing, and yes drinking.....A Ceili would be the only time some people would see each other, so friendships were renewed, new friends made, and lots of "gossip"...

  • i love how Meav steps on her dress in the beginning lol it cute

  • Are these dresses traditional irish dresses?

  • I love how when mairead comes out playing all the boys are following her around!

  • I now feel the need to bring myself to the local Ceili.

  • I would so love to go to one of their concerts

  • 3:26 Best face EVER!

  • the celtic women are as just as beautiful as the sun rising from the irish sea

  • Meav's voice is just sooo perfect

  • Orla's voice is perfection as always.

  • I love how Mairead dances around and smiles to gaily! (gay being happy of course for all you sick-minded people...)

  • This song is so much fun! :D And definately a showcase of how variated their talents are. The normally serene and heartwarming Lisa rocking out and still singing gorgeous, Órla playing around and still knows how to enchant with her mystical beautiful Irish voice, and Méav with her adorable and hilarious stage presence and wonderfull smooth voice. And Máiréad is just awesome as usual. Hehe, they' all can do just anything <3 (besides Heavy Metal perhaps.. LOL)

  • @TheGeantrai...Give them a chance and I bet they can sing Heavy Metel too....Not that they would want to...

  • "Fair with lots of money" makes me laugh!

  • "I'd rather have a man for love, than be a rich man's lady." Implies that you can't love a rich guy. Disclaimer-This song rocks my socks.

  • @S0XF0X...I think it implies more along the line that a rich man will love his money more...

  • @gaeilge1O1 Huh, didn't think of it that way. Very good point.

  • @kinsellatpk...Just a b'fhéidir leat tarraing freisin. Tá tú ar ndóigh níl meas ar ceol maith. Just a ceann eile marbh ag dul chomh maith ag éisteacht leis an gceol cac a chuir siad amach na laethanta seo.

  • What beautiful, sexy dresses.!!!! A thumbs up to who ever thought of them. What a fun video, but so glad the dvd is so much sharper. But still watch this, fun fun fun. And they were having fun.

  • OH MY GOD!!!

THE RICH ONE LOOKS LIKE CLAY AKEN!!! 0_o

  • the dark and poor one is way cuter. I'd go for that one. lol

    Love Celtic Woman

  • Man this brings so many memories of first listening to them back when it was the original lineup! Wish they would come back!

  • lol that vionlinist is adorable running around like that!

  • They'd have no problem meeting some new at the ceili...

  • wow...i didnt know i was a bar

  • @kailibug01...A ceili is NOT a bar, a ceili is nothing more than a social gathering...They started long before such things as bars or pubs came into existence. A town or village would have a ceili periodically so people could all come together and socialize, dance, drink etc etc...they would have them at planting and harvest time or other important occasions...

  • wow...i didnt know i was a bar

  • The one whos sposed to be the rich one kinda looks smug.

  • @TheVballchic21 I think that is the point

  • I need a dress like that. :)

  • I love this song. It's been stuck in my head for almost a week now. (:

  • Im absoloutely in love with this song!! Irish music is the best!

  • I love it :D

  • Their voices are great as usual!! And the lyrics are so funny, especially Meav's part! I freaking love this song!

  • @meh3335 I like Lisa's part :D

  • @meh3335 Haha, for some reason I never heard this one, but I love it!

    And it made me laugh!

  • Orla you get me every single time.

  • Makes me wanna dance! SO cheerful!

  • this is my favorite song out of them all. i just want to get up and dance! it's unfortunate though, this song is a bonus track and it isn't available in the US i don't think...

  • @96chocoholic It is.Look for the cd A New Journey with two extra tracks. At the Ceili and Spanish Lady. Ava. at Amazon. Enjoy!!!!!!

  • @bxzthes if I remember correctly there is 16 songs on the cd.

On the dvd "A new journey - Live at Slane castle, Ireland" there is 24 songs

Spanish lady, At the Cèili, Sing out!, You Raise me up, Danni Boy and Shenandaoah- The pacific Slope.

    hope it help :)

  • @robe02 I forgot some of them XD there is also Panis Angelicus and proberly more sorry about that :)

  • I love this song one of my faves from celtic woman

  • Comment removed

  • @Celticfan1927 they are.

  • @TimLugia

    Thanks, I didn't know

  • I wish I had this as a DVD and from iTUNES!

  • Their dresses are freakin gorgeous!! ^_^

  • oh... they sing and dance so lovely... i love CW! super!

  • I'm wondering why the top rated comment is about trolls instead of the song? But anyway! I love this song, I just saw them in concert. It wasn't actually any of these women performing... except the fiddler. I don't think they can really replace that fiddler.... I loved her dress- she's always just worn white when I've seen her. But the orange fits her ..."pixie-like?" personality. The over all effect is just 'wow'!

  • @mjaysn45 You must be new to posting on YouTube to have to have never had run-ins with the ubiquitous trolls!! They will indeed drive one up the walls.

But you are right it should be about Celtic Woman and the music. Mairead Nesbitt, the fiddler, is my favorite - she has fantastic talent.

  • Just an FYI...it's spelled Ceilidh, not Ceili.

  • @clworship Actually, both spellings are correct. Ceilidh is the Scotish way of spelling it, whereas Ceili is the Irish spelling.

  • 2 guys chasing her? try getting asked out online 40 times in 1 week by guys you don't even know irl!!!

  • @mormongirl97 Good Merlin, I'm jealous. lol!

  • Those 34 people should enjoy more this song...

  • This is an exellent song, its fun and playful.

  • Orla I LOVE you.

  • @UndercoverCracker THIS. I saw this live today in concert with Chloe singing Orla's part, but as wonderful as it was, it wasn't *Orla.* She brings a magic to it no one else can match.

  • @simplystreeptacular: I saw them two weeks ago too, in Louisville. It was a wonderful show!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHahahahahhahaha Meáv!!!

  • They're having so much fun! They're smiling and dancing as if the whole world is NOT going to watch them, as if they're just singing together for fun, and they're just awesome!

  • @wordgal14 the guy who's on special effects (i guess that's what it is, the guy who does the chimes and other things) and the drummer also seem to just be playing for fun, you just have to see their expressions and how into it they are to tell. i enjoy watching all of the videos like this one for that reason and for the fact that everyone is EXTREMELY talented

  • DL the audio from this vid at tubepull doht cohm.

  • @ar2110302 ...

  • @ar2110302 are you actually serious??? I think you need your head checked!!

  • @xXxNutty88xXx.....There is a standing rule for places like this...."don't feed the trolls" the more you argue with them the more idiotic they become....

  • @gaeilge101 ah, so i'm not the only one who realized that almost all trolls have attention issues..... and the others are just idiots who can't stand someone else having a different opinion. anyways, its nice to know there are others out there.

  • If only they had Ceilis where I live!

  • this is currently my favorite song.

  • Hehe, my family and I call the small one on the violin the "pixie". I was almost shocked when I saw her playing violin while running around like that and jumping.

  • @finalresortx1

Only 'almost'? I laughed out loud, she is my musical hero, I can't even replace the strings! She's amazing, I've watched countless videos and I still can't get over her talent!

  • @finalresortx1 I think of her as a fairy. I just love her violin playing and how does she dance and play simultaniously in fancy dresses and heels with all that hair everywhere?

  • @finalresortx1 Actually that is an electric English fiddle

  • @bear1085 Actually, her violin (or fiddle, there isn't much of a difference) was made by Matthias Albani in the 1700s.

  • @finalresortx1 Mairead. Her name is Mairead. Not pixie. And you shouldn't be shocked. She has MAJOR skills!

  • @finalresortx1 and in high heels non the less

  • @finalresortx1 her name is Mairead Nesbitt ;)

  • @LuthienofOssiriand Actually, she's barefoot. Doesn't like shoes apparently

  • @ShadeoftheRaven..Actually, in this video she IS wearing shoes....she doesn't do barefoot any more...she has taken a couple of spills. Besides that it rained the night of this performance and could have rained more at any time so she wore something akin to ballet slippers with souls that would give her traction in case of water on the stage..

  • @ShadeoftheRaven what does that have to do with her name?

  • @finalresortx1 -Might I add in heels /Platforms -which is I think a dam good job

  • Respond to this video... Go the 'pixie' with the fiddle

  • ok, i tried to find this on itunes so i could FINALLY buy it, ive wanted it since i saw them perform when they came to town, and its not on itunes, is this song known as anything else?

  • @chicasrock96...If you go to Amazon . com you can search for Celtic Woman, and on the list of DVD/CD's you can get to the song list and download it from there....

  • *Sigh* People shell out for therapists & phsychologists to ease their stress. As for me, I just listen to Celtic Woman.

  • @MissAmiTimeLord I do the SAME thing. I just listen to them half the night sometimes. But it really helps.

  • @MissAmiTimeLord Absolutely, Celtic women and sweet red wine. Life is good

  • Oh dear lord everytime I hear Orla's part I melt.

  • @UndercoverCracker Oh, God, tell me about it. She's just... perfect.

  • @UndercoverCracker I know, right? She's absolutely brilliant.

  • 4:16 i love when the guy keeps looking at Meav when he should have gotten up.

  • Is the Ceili like an old school irish club or something? Lol.

  • @Indiegirl007 kind of. lol. ceili's were very popular in ireland and scottland a long time ago. it was basically an opportunity for neighbors to gather together socially and dance or tell stories.

  • Órla Fallon <3

  • I Absulotaly LOVE this song!!!

  • orla is so awesome o.o i don´t know why, but shes so interesting. she´s not a very pretty woman, but soooo charming o.o <3

  • @gksubs1 I totally agree with you :-)

  • i love this song so much. 4 all of u who dont, a ceili is a bar

  • @emmittsmith482....shows how much you don't know....A Ceili is a social gathering, before the advent of bars and taverns all the people of a village would gather for an evening of music, song and yes drinking....We still have Ceilis sometimes here in Dublin...

  • Haha I think Meav for one second forgot to sit on the man's lap at the very end!

  • @Agnouchka29 lol yeah

  • @Agnouchka29 lol yeah, or she couldnt at that sec cuz of her dress

  • Orla has a very soothing voice. I love it.

  • I love them singing this song!!! it is one of my favorites!!!

  • Meav has a very expressive face :) I love it ^^

  • @GoldenHarpy How doesn´t? And how high can she sing? Shes amazing!

  • i love the little blonde who plays the violin! she's always jumping and dancing around the stage, with a little mischevious smile on her face!

  • Lisa is perfect in this song!

  • One of the best songs of the concert, I love all of them!

  • Beautiful ladies. I love all their music. Thank you @celticLadies for posting

  • i like how the " dark and poor" guy's face lit up when meav chose him instead. it was like somebody had just offered him a double fudge sunday.

  • @abravar2

Wouldn't your face light up too if Meav chose you? :)

  • @abravar2 I want a double fudge sundae!

  • All these men! where can i find my nearest Ceilli?!

  • lol i love how in the end all of them get a man, even the fiddler

  • They're all so beautiful.

  • Go Orla.

  • This song is amazing. :)

Lisa is my favorite Celtic woman. Everytime she sings, her face lights up and she glows with joy. Shes so beautiful and has a wonderful talent. :)

  • This is such a fun song! As a writer Celtic Woman is what I listen to when I need to be inspired

  • they have great breath support! love them!!!

  • I would really really really like this song does anyone know where I can get it?

  • @read041 It's not a traditional song, so you would probably have to buy a songbook from the Celtic Woman website.

  • The red hair woman has a very unique voice. They all have a unique voice but hers has an extra edge/accent?

  • FUCKINBEAUTIFUL. <333333

  • BEST SONG EVER!!!!

  • i love these kind of songs haha

  • @gerhard221 while I agree that trolls are stupid, I'd just like to mention that IQ is fixed so that the average is always 100. I'd also like to think that the human race can take care of itself well enough to not let a few dumb trolls drag down its collective intelligence, but perhaps that's too optimistic.

    Great song, btw.

  • A fun song and the ladies do a wonderful job with it.

  • I'm from Italy and I'd really love to meet'em. Does anyone know how to do?

  • Comment removed

  • I love this one but the new at the celi is my new faverite but still I do love this

  • ORLA'S HAUNTING VOICE SPEAKS DIRECTLY TO MY SOUL! Gives me chills. Love her!!!!!

  • is it just me but do you immediatly smile when this music comes on?! XD

  • @LittleMissNight it's not just you. lol. i can't help but smile every time i play this. :)

  • O God, please save us from the trolls! I post something like "Don't you just love Pavarotti's voice?" and someone comes back with "you obviously dont no shit abt music you stupid fuck' Please, someone, just find a way to moderate these idiots out before they pull down the IQ of all of humanity to 70. There ARE some decent human beings who actually just want to enjoy the arts without the incessant verbal flatulence of fools.

  • @gerhard221 Well said, I agree 100%.

  • @gerhard221 Sir,that was awesome."Incessant verbal flatulence" indeed.

  • @gerhard221 youre only feeding them fool

  • i love this song. lol. the women are so amazing in it! Lisa looks like she's having a blast with it and Maev's part is just great. Orla's voice is somewhat haunting, in a way. lol. but i love Lisa. her face always lights up when she gets to dance on stage. this is a very enjoyable performance to watch.

  • don't you love the rich guy's expressions

  • This is my favorite Celtic Woman Song!

  • Orla's slow, graceful part is just right for her. She sings so beautifully, and not just because her voice is amazing. She was the best member of the group in my opinion.

Lisa has a wonderful voice for the faster part. The expression and steady voice volume is there. She never over- does songs. Lisa is an amazing singer. Meav has so much energy and expression in this song, too. Bravo for all three of them.

  • @gowildlife That's what I love about the girls, David brings out the best of their voices, including Mairead's violin

  • I LOVE YOU LISA!!!!<3<3<3<3 your extremely hot and extremely sexy and extremely talented

  • Lisa you are soooo HOT!!<3<3

  • I LOVE YOU LISA!!!!!!<3<3<3<3<3<3

  • love this song especially orlas part is so perfect for her voice ;)

  • I think the girls should team up with Celtic Thunder; wouldn't that be awesome? ... On second thought, maybe they'd better not; I think my head would explode.

And to boiled pudding: I could use a Ceili right now, myself. :)

  • my name's Ceili ;)
