yeah.. tama yan. me too... someone told me to preserve my ifugao culture and it really touched me for i never put that in my mind.. i have my lolo there in Ubuag, lagawe ifugao and i used to visit him from time to time.
OH NOOOOO!!! DID SHE JUST SAY " MY AMERICAN HUSBAND"??? WOW! THERE GOES OUR RICE TERRACES!!! AMERICAN AGRICULTURE WILL FUCK IT UP! HAHAHA.... NOT TO MENTION IRRI's STUPID RICE PROGRAMS!
A wonderful video. As a filipino born in the US I understand the reason to keep traditions alive as a people without its language and history are no longer a culture. I regret that because of the flood in 2009 I was not able to go north to the Ifugao area when I was there visiting family. Maybe next time.
i am interested in terrace rice globally and keen to link all the Bali, Yunnan, and Banaue. In Sabah tambunan Malaysia we have terrace rice field but is not as a beautiful like yours and Bali or Yunnan . however, it is good to preserve this culture as a tourist -to enjoy and preserve terrace hub. Johnny
