  • Guys, sorry I haven't responded to many of your questions. Just swamped with writing assignments, TV work, etc. The last question was who my carrier is. I'm in Canada and I use Bell Mobility. A few people asked how I stretched the video. I did that with the TV remote and tweaking the input resolution. It's easy to do. Cheers, Marc

  • Apple sucks for Connecting stuff to the TV. Why the hell do they hold back on HDMI straight connection? I guess they want everything to stay inside their own products. That's why we also can't connect an external hard drive to an iPad so we won't save or share the apps.

  • @t50teacher6144 don't they sell those cables in Iran?? The only way is to order them online and I doubt ebay sellers ship to Iran. The next problem would also be the credit card issue unless you can somehow open up a paypal account and put money in it. I guess you either have to wait for someone to bring the adapter to Iran or buy it outside the country

    I didn't do anything on the iPad to tweak the aspect ratio -- it was on the TV. I pressed the "Picture Size" button until it (almost) fit the television screen.

    I have a Samsung TV, tried the "Picture Size" like you said, but cannot solve the side bars problem (only vertical zoom). Can you give more imput on this? Thanks in advance!

  • did you just scretch the image full screen using the picture stretch etc options in your Tv's remote control options..or did you stretch it using some kind of image options in the ipad2? YOU ARE TEH FIRST PERSON to finally show a way to make it close enough to finally FIT a larger display ( i hate black bars...makes it pointless to view something on a wide screen display...imo) great video man. keep em coming :D

  • @erocicTheGreat exactly. It isn't native 1080P, since it doesn't show the exact picture. Playbook has a built in hdmi that pumps out native 1080p.
