Face it capcom is better at least you know what to expect with their fighters, SF,darkstalkers etc..KOF on the other hand likes to make up its own Fucking rules while you play. its like a beat em up on Roids. A charge character suddenly doesnt charge, a low HP character suddenly takes little damage you know its the cheap ass shit like that which makes it broken. the early SNK Fighting games are an example

@Kristoffer121 Snk stands for Shin Nihon Kikaku it means New Japan Project in english and yes it is on playstation the pro port but it's inferior when compared to the epicness that is the dreamcast port

Also, I agree with Seizhin, it seems you havent really spent much time with SNK fighting games. In my opinion, SNK were the closest rivals Capcom ever had in the fighting genre, they recognised this and made Dan.

@mansuru Amazon still sell Dreamcast CDs???? well thanks man, but I found a useful cheaper way, the way is to buy a new empty CD and go to romulation(Dot Com) then download the game you want, and then download a program called DiskJugger so you can import the downloaded file to the empty CD.

@Aztech355 I've looked at Mugen but man I imagine it's complete chaos. When you have several different people making their own characters, there are bound to be balancing problems. It looks really cool but I bet it's completely unbalanced.

It depends on the Mugen program that is used. As long as you have the standard characters from their game and not made up characters it's good. I have 800 and all of the ones I use are from SNK and Capcom series games. I like mugen because I can play with all of my characters from any fighting game from their game engine. I thought that was great but to each is it's own. SNK Forever!!

I mention game engine because for example Kim Kaphwan's gameplay from Real Bout Fatal Fury Special, KOF 2002, and Capcom vs. SNK is totally different. Mugen gives me the chance to play with those varieties compared to the (Modern) console game version in which you have to rely on what the makers want to do with those characters. Most of the time they water them down and take out moves which sucks.

yeah i got the psx version, which is the shittier version, mainly cause of the load times and the pixelated special effects. the game is alright, but it is a personal favorite of mine. i think if they take the roster, gameplay, and stages and mix them with the theme and stages from part 2 it would be perfect. i like the techno/house sounding music on some of the parts of CVS1, like the options menu. i like 1's stages better too overall.
