Sacha was a big hit in Oz for sure. When the Shadows played at the Melb Art Centre (sometime in the 1980s) they asked for requests and someone suggested Sacha (which they couldn't play - well it wasn't a SHADOWS hit). The next year they were back at the Arts Centre and they played it! (They also apologised for not playing it the year before - apparently Hank didn't know it was a hit in Oz). LOL
@ozphil When I first saw this clip moments ago I really thought the same. I thought he looked like John Lennon myself esp.on the part Hank plays on his classical guitar. It's a shorter version of the original but extremely rare and valuable.Thanks CliffShads for posting.
OH YEAH!!!!

I love this.

Arguably the best instrumental of all. It was in the Australian top 40 in 1969 for over 20 weeks.

anybody else think Hank looks a lot like John Lennon???

@ozphil
counting that Hank made his début in 1958, perhaps you may say that Lennon looked somewhat like Hank?!!
... a joke, basically both resemble a little bit physically!...
... and both are, historically speaking, great musicians!

@alti1954 Yes I can see the resemblance...and yes both great musicians.
