@9Arc I don't know if you still need to know, but DI is directional influence, and as the name implies, changes the direction you fly in after being hit slightly, and can help you live from an attack that would normally kill you. You can use DI by holding the analog stick and c-stick on a controller in certain directions the moment before being hit.
