  • please send me an invitation.I want to know more about this vacuum cleaner: cipioo@yahoo.com

  • thank you

  • So does the floormate act like an extraction cleaner but for hard floor?

  • where can u get it from

  • I think my favorite part was those big manly hands.... yummy daddy -Ben

  • @vintagehoover do you vacuum the hard floor before cleaning with the floormate?

  • @eureka800 Yes, I do. You can do it with the Floormate on the dry-vacuum setting. However, avoid using it to pick up too much dirt, because this will clog the small cartridge filter and compromise wet pickup.

  • @vintagehoover does swiffer detergent work with floormates?

  • @eureka800 I'm not sure what that is, but I'd strongly recommend only using the manufacturer's own approved products with the Floormate to avoid voiding the warranty.

  • @vintagehoover thats why i use a full sized upright like the kirby sentria or my hoover windtunnel before cleaning hard floors

  • do you know where i can get one from in the uk

  • @Parwaz786 vacuums by hoover are called vax in the united kingdom

  • @eureka800 really? i am not sure because there is some hoovers in the UK and vax both makes so i think vax is a uk model?

  • This thing is amazing! I thought my floors were fairly clean but I pulled 5 loads of black water off 1200 sq ft!

  • where did u buy this from? its better than a mop leaving floors wet!

  • i think its like the hoover windtunnel is same as vax mach ranges

  • my Floormate is not picking up water like it did before; I replaced filter & squeegee. Could I have a leaky hose or worn gasket?

  • HOORAY! I finally got a Floormate & now I'll wash my floors daily instead of waiting every 2-3 wks with the old mop. Floormates REALLY save your back!

  • I'm FINALLY getting a Floormate! I can't wait to use it on my tile floors; they get REALLY dirty here. Can the Floormate be used on area rugs?

  • those steam mops are worthless; Floormates & Floor-a-matics are #1!

  • I just found my second trash find floormate. Absolutely fantastic machines, both thrown out for no apparent reason.

  • thats what i am going to do with my floormate

  • id prefer this to a mop any day! :D

  • Oh, it just makes the floors glow!!!

    ;D

  • So simple but in the classiest way.

  • I KNEW you were going to do this!

  • You did?

  • Somehow, yeah. When I said I was doing a FM vid, I knew you were too. Mine doesn't have spinscrub, but it does have a powerbrush.

  • I've been meaning to upload this video for a while - I only got round to it today!

I'd like to see a video of yours!

  • I'll think I can get to it soon! BTW, what's your fav, and your most unique vacuums in your collection.

  • I have quite a few favourites...I'd really find it hard to pick just one!

My most unique vacuums...well, my Air-Way Fleetwood Special, The Dizer, the Bylock Table-Vac, the talking Hoover Sensotronic Audio, the Dyson DC02 Recyclone... they're all pretty interesting in their own way!

  • so just how does this thing work?

  • You fill it with water and cleaning solution, then just guide it over the floor like a vacuum cleaner. It sprays the mixture onto the floor, scrubs it in and dislodges dirt with the spinscrub brushes, then vacuums it all up again, leaving the floor dry.

Many, many times more energy-efficient than mopping, and much more hygienic, too!

I LOVE this thing! I always hated mopping, and this takes all the effort out of cleaning hard floors.

  • lol well i could sure see it picked up dirt, and i didnt know the floormates had spinscrubers

  • Yup, 7 of them! Very similar to the ones used on the carpet washers like the Dual V.

  • 7! holy crap! thats awesome, and i agree alot more sanitary method of washing your hardwoods

  • Yup - with a mop, you're dunking it in a bucket of filthy, bacteria-filled water and spreading it back all over the floor.

The Floormate doesn't recycle the water, so it's much more hygienic!

  • there you go. but what about a steam mop what does it do

  • A steam-mop may neutralise bacteria, but it just wipes debris over the floor - it doesn't really remove it in the way the Floormate does.

  • ok so steam mop cleans better than regular mop but floormate cleans better than both.

  • no water is spraying on to the hard floor when i use my floormate

  • is the spray nozzle clogged? Is the clean water tank leaking? All U need to do is take a needle & clean out the spray nozzle.
