the thing im scared about is the fact there adding more characters to mario party like its nobodys business. first they take out donkey kong and made him a space which sucks and now there adding idiotic characters like blooper and hammer bro in mario party 8 and yet they didn't add bowser jr or diddy kong? I WANT BOWSER JR DANG IT!!! i hope they dont get to the point of adding final fancy characters like they did in mario hoops 3-on-3 and mario sports mix cause the game would officially suck!!!

Mario party 2 will always be the best Mario game alive. I would agree on that than modern warfare 2, and I own the cartridge. I could remember I used to play that with my cousins when I was younger. Let the nintendo 64 live forever.

Mario party 8 received a lot of bad reviews. man i wish that had they had a lot of magic again to make Mario party 9.

I can understand why MP games would get worse reviews...they are the same thing--board game with random luck events, minigames, etc. But I played MP8 and thought it took WAY too long to finish a player's turn.

Eventually, after a while, the series had to rely on gimmicks when all along, they should've taken stuff from MP1 and 2 and given it tons of minigames and other features. But oh well.

@Eric4372 I agree mp8 wasn't that great. It was gimmics not mini games. IMO the best Mp is mp2 as the endings are epic. And you don't have to get first at all to beat the game. It was just about fun.
