People who are ignorant or not knowledgeable will mock or criticize Imam Abu-Hanifa.
Sadly, the same kind of people will also attribute, astagfirullah, godly or prophetic attributes to him as well. Imam abu Hanifa was undoubtedly a great scholar, but even he cannot reach the ranks of sahabah ekram, let alone Ambiyah alaihimusalaam.
However, from the talk it has become evident that fiqh cannot be ignored, and that the idea of modernists is dangerous.

I was expressing the position that all the Imams are to be praised -- in contrast to some people who wish to elevate one over the other to such a digree that they invent stories - to disparage others. I was born and raised in a Country where people folow madhab of Imam As-Shafii.

Some even claim Isa bin Maryam, when he returns, will follow the Hanifi Madhhab. Abu Hanifah is free of all this silliness.

i thoroughly enjoyed watching this video, this is exactly my view. I am a hanafi by fiqh as I dont have enough knowledge on saying what hadeeth is saheeh or not. If i start following a scholar from today then i become a 'blind follower' of that scholar.
Take the middle path, if a hadeeth is saheeh and YOU are 100% convinced then follow the saheeh.. but to do this you need to be a true student of knowledge
