The WHO has voted. More than 160 countries decided that Taiwan is a part of China and thus rejected Taiwan's application to the organization. Taiwan is too political. The current leader of Taiwan tried and failed to use WHO membership to start a conflict between China and the world. Shame!!
The leaders of Taiwan is very stupid. I don't understand when more than 160 countries (almost the whole world) think Taiwan is a part of China and the leaders still trying to get into WHO. They should understand only indenpendent country can join the WHO.
Taiwan is not in WHO because it is NOT an independent country. Just like California (part of USA) is not in WHO because California is NOT an independent country either.
Costa Rica, the 170th country, thinks that Taiwan is part of China. There are only a few country (~20) in the world recognize Taiwan as an inpendent country.
I have been told that only 30% of Taiwanese like you think you are not a part of China. The other 70% of Taiwanese think Taiwan is part of China and want to be reunited with China in the future.
Most Americans like me think Taiwan is part of China. It there is a world between Taiwan and China, I do not want US to be involved.
