the light is being reflected somewhere it shouldnt, when he turns around, we see a reflection of light in the upper right, this could only be caused by glass put in front of the camera.

It looks to me like a piece of glass with a dark image painted on, being placed in front of the camera and moved to the right.

It maybe would have been more convincing if the light didnt give away the presence of glass.

I see no other way the light from behind him should be reflected like that.
