What does win mean. Since there were no WMDs and no Iraq al Qaeda connection before the invasion, those, which were the false pretexts for the war, are two items that have no connection to 'winning'. They never existed to be solved.

What does win mean. If it means astronomical war profits, then the profiteers are winning everyday.

But, in the process both the US and Iraq lose. We are part of the problem in Iraq, not part of any solution.

Exactly Benny - Even if we kill every Al Qaeda operative in Iraq, how much are we reducing the threat of terrorism to the US or our allies? I'd argue we're not reducing it at all. For every dead civillian, we have a family of potential terrorists. It's an endless cycle.

The Iraqi's want us out, the military wants to leave, why is it "irresponsible" to listen to them? Why is it "responsible" to listen to the same morons who beat the war drums in the first place?
