You didn't get the final star. You only have 61 stars. There are 120 starts for Mario, 121 if you complete the game with Luigi. And also 121 stars for Luigi.

I master this part myself... Here are some improvements:

3:00, jump just a bit later and you'll get on the ledge

3:34, you can jump from this platform if you jump fully right and just a little bit upward. This part was really really slow.

3:50, beginner mistake, tap a little bit to the right in the middle of the jump to advoid this.

3:55, make a long jump here, get hit by the fire (wich makes you run faster for a short while)

4:10, it's possible to jump diagonally over the lavaflow.

4:11, opening the wii menu isn't really a smart thing to do in a speedrun.

4:37, neither is dying.

5:14, skip the platform and go for the long jump, and longjump onwards.

5:20, the spin was't nessecarely here.

5:21, long jump to the platform.

5:22, wrong jump.

5:29, if you sacroficed a HP, you could have made the right platform.

5:36, long jump here to the third platform.

5:42, long jump and skip the second platform.

6:21, I know it's hard, but it's possible to longjump these.

this game is amazing, i only wished it was more like the 2d ones, because this one was too easy; they could have done one hit kill, until you find a mushroom, then you can get some kind of power up like the fire flower or bee mario ^_^ ehee

Oh no! When I first got the game, I was P.O.'ed when I found out that we only got three health wedges instead of eight, but later on I realized that they offset the hard parts by giving us lots of checkpoints, 1ups, and special shrooms that give you an extra health pie, doubling Mario's stamina!

Not exactly once you get all the stars with mario, you play the game as luigi... and get 121 more stars for a total 242 stars in the game.
