I've always thought Salvia is strange. But for McKenna, who has done every psychedelic known to man to say it give me some reassures me how strange it really is. It's not scary, but it creeps me out man. I wish it wasn't so weird so I could do it more often because it's also very interesting.

This was indeed Terence's girlfriend, Christy. A lovely woman who was with him the last few years of his life and cared for him until the end. Enjoyed seeing this film of him surrounded by the botanicals in Hawaii.

No offense to her (or you), but that seems almost unreal that she is Terence's girlfriend because of the age difference. Can you please explain this further?

This was a common mistake people made after they becane a couple, partly because she WAS young and diminutive, under 5' and T being 6'4". Christy was in her mid-20s at the time she met him in Mexico. Terence's 2 children are a striking mixture of their parents -- both long and lean and dark-haired. ... I was a friend of Terence's during the last 4 years of his life.

I found out about terrence mckenna 3 years back as I reasearched 2012. He put in to precise words the thoughts and pain I felt my whole life that I just fell in love with him.I sowish I could be fortunate enough to talk to him as you did I would have so much to say. I recentlybought a salvia divinorum plant and once it grows some more I amgoing to try it. If you could offer me any tipson how to grow it well please doso. I am hoping to find a place of healing by taking the plant I have much pain.

I could not advise taking any substance(s) to ease psychic pain ... sometimes things need to get worse before they get better.

There's several good books on s.d. and probably some good (and bad) web pages.

If I were you i'd just nurture the plant as a living thing; in a year or so you'll know the right direction.

Meanwhile, talk (and listen) to people about your thoughts and read read read.

i met terence for the first time in nyc in 1994. he is a real life elf, to be sure. missing him seems strange because his nature to me has always been so interdimensional... thanks for posting (and shooting?) this...because no matter what, its always nice to see him.

You are very fortunate to have met him -- unfortunately I was only made aware of his existence a couple years ago and, have been fascinated by him, what he has to say and what he stands for. I can only imagine what he would be accomplishing today if he were still alive. He definitely left this world too soon.

What a sweet video. Mckenna died in 2000 from a brain tumor. I suspect this video is from that time? It's quite dark but in some shots it seems that the right side of his head is swollen. I had no idea his condition was manifesting itself in this way. Mckenna showed me the way ..and I will miss him dearly...

Yes. Terence was diagnosed in May of 1999. This video was filmed on December 9th, 1999 - just four months before he died.
