I believe this video in itself is incredibly racist. The whole video stipulates that a black man cannot fix a faltering economy. It also stipulates that a minority group should not have to assume a leadership role unless it is under the best circumstances possible. Not to mention it makes obama out to be a perfect being. If he succeeds it because he is just that good. If he fails its because he was elected at a bad time. It immunizes him of any fault of his own.

I view this complicated, difficult situation as a strength in the long run. Our nation will bounce back with more confidence and understanding, you learn more from your loses than from your wins. We will recover from this. Nothing that will happen will be as bad as The Great Depression. It took over 10 years but we made it through. I would rather that future historians remember Obama more because he was battle tested and successful rather than because of his skin color.

You make some valid points in your video. Obama must have not seen it this way though. At least I hope not, otherwise he shouldn't have taken the oath to lead the free world if he didn't feel confident in his ability to restore America. What president didn't inherit challenges, some much worse. The weak economy and the multitude of problems being passed to his administration will make his success that much more significant. It will take an exceptional individual to work with this broken machine.

I've been saying this since I saw his picture on the front People Magazine before he even announced his candidacy. An unknown senator that had only been in office 4 months on the cover titled "America's next President" I think that he's a piss poor choice as a first black president simply because of what he believes. I just wish more people would have educated themselves before deciding it was necessary for them to go vote on something they knew nothing about.
