  • Uber Sexy.

  • His soul was better than all else with a sweet kind of a cadance that lets us look down the road. He was So underated and I was as guilty of it too, early on in my life and if was HE was on speed or not still DAMN good. The Beatles should have got him in the band when Paul and George Harrison were at LOGGER HEADS and John Lennon said to GH well maybe we'll get Eric Clapton as the replacement though I have always thought that AL was a lot like GH. PEACE

  • Ich habe auf meinem Kanal dieses Stück selbst aufgenommen - schaut Euch das bitte auch mal an! Es lohnt sich!

  • chick killin that bass!!!!

  • @ROCKITRICK7769 Chick churchill is the organ player he made a solo album the bass player is leo lyons

  • As far as doing the Rock , I Think Mr . Lee had it down as Well as ANYBODY ...

  • Imádom a játékát! Ő is egy gitár virtuóz,de még milyen! Nem hiába hívták villám kezűnek! Nagy élmény őt nézni és hallgatni! Mindenkinek ajánlom!

  • Early shredder marktd53?...The only guy that could have gave Jimi a run for his money @ woodstock. Pete Towns. couldn't do it (as great as he is). Stephen Stills...Phenomenal performer (couldn't do it). Alvin set the stage for greats as Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton IMHO. The best rockandroll

  • Fuckin' cool man!!!

  • give,s me a rush every time !!!!!!

  • An early shredder...for certain.

  • I still listen to them. Great lead guitar

  • 2 people are Justin B fans.......

  • WICKED.

  • alvin lee must feel hard done by, that his success wasn't appretiated at the time as all the other blues guitar greats as he is Undoubtably a legendary guitar player, he deserves to be up there with the claptons & pages, clapton could've learned to play faster listening TYA.

  • The 'Sssshhhh' album was--and is-- awesome!

  • on the comment on Ten Years After,Rick Lee is the drummer!

  • OMG that bassplayer is like a wildman! I heard it was his bro'

  • it's called playing TOGETHER!---I recall Lyons playing something like this @ the Fillmore West and he had bandages on his picking/slamming hand and they were unravelling as he was cooking this chicken!

  • it's called playing TOGETHER!

  • wicked,such a great band.

  • This song plays in my head everytime I see a girl I wanna fuck.

  • It is his guitarplaying that ppl come for, not his voice...lol And his playing is awesome.

  • Who gives a shit if is singing wasn't that great , many would disagree anyway .

Alvin Lee is a MASTER Rock performer , besides music is about the total package , the songs , the performance , the guitar playing , the energy ... and to be the man , you have to beat the man . Get in line , Alvin Lee and his awesome band ARE the MAN !

  • du bon de chez bonbon

  • Great guitar player Alvin Lee but couldn't sing for shit!

  • try johnny winter for fast picking also .

  • Yeah! We were all on speed, then. This music is SO Beautiful. The Energy is Amazing. Life still felt Brand New and this music reflects that.

  • I have heard that at one time Alvin was the fastest guitar player in the world. How much truth to this? Does anybody know? My belief was Jimi Hendrix.

  • @mchllemay HEY DUDE,,JONNY WINTER AND GARY MOORE WERE PRETTY DSAMN FAST DUDE,,SRV AND HENDRIX WERE AS WELL...LEE WAS DAST ITS REALLY HARD TO SAY.. I KNOW THAT BASS PLAyer for alvin,,and billy gibbons`s bass player dusty hill are 2 bad mofo`s...BOTTOM LINE

  • 3.42 & 4:42 ....absolutely amazing......

  • I was there.

I was to young to appreciate the band (14 yrs old as it is a family member playing) but looking back the best thing was being at the Marquee club. Back stage was all signed. I remember dad showing me signatures in this dingy room like creme etc. I was pleased as I got a tee shirt. Wow. That impressed a 14 yr old.

  • Alvin Lee is so under-appreciated. This group was one of the best the 60's produced. People don't realize what a powerful stage act they had.

  • Alvin and Leo at their best. Great stuff.

  • Listen to Leo Lyons on the bass he is damn near playing lead on it what a great bass player.

  • Leo Lyons is the most underrated bass player of the rock era.

  • @misteraytch hell everyone is this band is underrated i mean Rick Lees drum solo on "Boogie On" is incredible and so is Chick Churchill's organ solo

  • @misteraytch He was the best I ever saw, and I saw quite a few

  • YES!! THANK YOU!!!

  • Hey buddy you re very lucky to see them gloriousos musicians that time!!!

  • WOW-This Music Is Alot Better Than What I Do:)

  • Great to see a comment on Leo Lyons by Matt Dillon. I went to high school with a Chris Dillon who was a bass player. I also went to the Fillmore with him and others and saw Ten Years After...many times. Some great bass players back then, Jack Bruce, Leo Lyons, Larry Taylor (alias The Mole) and Clive Bunker wasn't too bad either. Great concerts back in the late 60's early 70's. I remember when front row seats at the Fillmore East went UP to $5.50!

  • woow, i want to play like leo!!

  • Comment removed

  • That bass player is kicking ASS!

  • Not many bass players could keep up with Alvin but Leo kicks some serious ass on this classic song, PURE MAGIC

  • Ah, yes, its so great that someone has some old video of this, its as great today as then. Saw them in the old Electric Factory in Philly, in 67, 68 or so, They were the second of three bands, with the last band being Jeff Beck. It got real late, and I missed the last train home, you think I cared?

  • Great, saw Alvin Lee in Antwerp some time ago, stil alive and kicking....

  • years ago i had a friend who could play lead guitar along to the undead album when played on 45, with one hand., hammer down and draw off.. of course my friend gave guitar lessons to eddie van halen., e.v. was 14 years old.

  • underrated and uncredited

  • Leo Lyons (the bass player) is the best!

  • Right on man and of course Jack Bruce

  • LOVE IT !!

saw em in '74 - Madison Square, ZZ Top opened...

    ... Good Times

  • Back in the day we all felt that Alvin had to be on speed to play as fast as he did. He was fast & they were loud. Checkout their "Undead" album to hear them at their early best.

  • @kmcgrath1488 when i heard his solo guitar, it feels like running in the big field. unstoppable!!!!

  • @kmcgrath1488 He wasnt on speed he is a jazz guitarist he started on clarinet thats why he does woodchoppers ball by woody herman on undead

  • Great band

  • I've loved Alvin Lee since the sixties. Ten Years After did a hot version of this song that took up one entire side of an album. Great stuff!

  • Wow! That is some serious jam action right there! Holy shit!!

  • Great Video!!!
