The only shitty part's about MODERN battlefield games is that when I go into a server on, battlefield 3 or bad company 2 EVERYONE is sniping far away or sniping right up close. Kinda stupid.

@romforsker he is camping, but it's not nessasarily bad in bf2 objective games, if your good, if you take as many people out as he did he would be welcome in any rush game. If your shit at sniping and get 1 guy every 30 secs or minute, then your just letting your team down and should switch to assault/engineer. besides the map is great for sniping on, and thats actually hard to get in bf2, theres so many trees and cover on other maps that when you get to this one you dont wanna miss the chance:p

Correct me if im wrong but i see zero scope sway. In bf3 the scope sways and you use shift to hold breath to steady it for 3 seconds.

Yes , recons are important , but only if they are actually helpful . If they are spotting people , clearing paths for teammates , and killing people just hiding and waiting for your teammates in common paths and not just shooting random enemies , then they are helpful . I am fine with having recons that are actually helpful ( I occasionally play Recon and do this ) , but there is no need for the idiots just shooting at everything that moves and gettig killed and respawning every five seconds .

@belcijan15 If you hit them above the hip I'm sure it will. They "removed" anything that increases the damage to a weapon, so all weapons will have unique damage. Which means that bolt-action sniper rifles will have more realistic damage and so will be 1 shot 1 kills most of the time. But hey, I don't even know what I'm saying is true, I just heard it on a video.

Sensitivity is a personal choice for what you're comfortable with. People with shakier hands do good with a lower sensitivity and bad with a higher one, while people with steady hands do good with a higher sensitivity and bad with a low sensitivity. If I wanted to, with your logic, I could say "haha, you can't play with a low sensitivity!"

You can't really. Most of the original Black ops maps, you don't have a good view of the field. But can incorporate the other things, I guess. But you can't get a good view of every map seeing that most maps in black ops are closed.

Then that is lame. Im talking about just the views of the of the map, that it was intended for players to be looking at people throught. Like you can't get a good view of everyone on summit, nuketown, wmd, firing range, jungle(it has a spot that lets you look out at a small portion of the map but not everyone or a big portion of the map) launch, Grid. I can't remember the rest now. But you can't get a view of big portion of the maps.

@0194D Its why I like World At War best. It has perfect maps. It has maps designated for close range sniping (Makin), rusher maps (dome), Long range maps (Cliffside), AR Maps (Castle, Courtyard), SMG maps (Dome, Upheval). I mean, its perfect in maps, and I think 3arc downscaled to meet with Infinity Ward map sizes to appeal with the public.

the non bolt action rifles are very good as well but not as youd expect, especially if your a codist. The type 88 with red dot is very good at close range, like the mod o m14. same with the VSS, but it's fully auto so chews up ammo quick. The SVU is sort of in between, but it's silenced, effective at long range. BC2 is all about finding different ways of using your kit to perform it's role. Recon is definitely not just sniping
