I love this game!

I was really far, too, I almost had it beat, but then my cousin, who was like 11 at the time, wanted to play, ans she accidentally copied my sisters game file onto mine. So I was only in World 2. I was so pissed.... I was in like world 4. I also had 999 lives.

Actually, they do have to. It's the sequel to the original Yoshi's Island for the SNES that was then ported to the GBA. So actually, Yoshi's Island DS is more formally known as Yoshi's Island 2. This time, though, you can use more babies but it is quite wierd that baby Luigi is kidnapped again and you have to save him.

They should kidnapped Mario on this game and Luigi as the main baby. but then again, would it make sense Luigi's special ability being dash?

But in all the games, Baby Mario is well known for his quickness and agility. Take Mario Tennis 64, for example. Baby Mario is speed type, as well as Yoshi. So when Baby Mario and Yoshi (who is already a fast character) combine, Baby Mario will give Yoshi his dashing ability power.

yeah, exactly the point im getting at. lol, i still think Baby Luigi shouldve been playable, even if he wasnt the main one. Him being kidnapped twice is.. weird. Even Baby Peach being kidnapped this time round wouldve made more sense.

But remember in all those games (on gameboy) such as Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2 and Super Mario Deluxe (GameBoy color) Peach was always the one being kidnapped? But I agree, I want to use Baby Luigi. He could replace Baby Wario because Wario only has his magnet to attract coins. Luigi would have been much cooler.

Yeah i guess so, But even in those game boy games, Luigi was only playable in deluxe. Any Mario game feels incomplete without him.

This would be my ideal set of babies.

Luigi: Prolonged jump, and his abilities in M64DS.

Peach: Possibly dash (she's always been fairly fast in MarioKart?).

Wario: Strength, like in same sorta way DK had it, rather than the shitty magnet.

DK: maybe keep him for the sake of climbing and stuff

B.Bowser: Well, keep the fire obviously. XD
